[For someone yanked from her home only a week ago, M'gann appears awfully calm on the feed. In fact, as she walks through the Hold, netbook floating in front of her, she can't help but seem a little underwhelmed. Transports viewing the video can see her in all of her green glory as she quietly explores the Hold, footsteps barely making noise.

Finally, somewhere between the classrooms and library, the martian stops and looks to the camera, curiosity getting the better of her.]

I understand what the library's for, but are the classrooms ever used? I haven't heard anything about sessions or studying since I arrived. [She pauses, considering something.] Did I just come at a bad time? The creatures only just left, after all.

[Waiting a few moments, something hits her. Well, it's more of a delayed realization.]

In any case, would someone please direct me to the nearest place to eat? It's almost lunch, and I missed breakfast...

[Clearly she wasn't expecting that. So this girl's like a mix of Starfire and Beast Boy. Come to think of it, she's a red head. It fits.]

May I ask where you come from, then?

I'm from Mars, but I live on Earth. It's my home now.

[Green skin and coming from Mars? If that's not awfully cliché... But Raven does not say that out loud.]

My uncle actually lives on Earth, and I decided to stay with him.

[Not a lie.]

I see. But you don't consider Mars as your home anymore. [Because you said it's your home now. Not your second home.]

No, I don't.

You remind me of one of my teammates. She's an alien too but she considers Earth her home now.

[Despite the question, she has a small smile on her face.]

Your skin color and shapeshifting ability also remind me of yet another teammate of mine. And before you ask, that's not as much of a good thing as in the first case.

[She has to laugh at that.] Does this other teammate have a name?

[Her eyes visibly widen at that.]

[Raven pauses. She's not used to hear people use her teammate's true identities. Yet she knows it's BB's name. So obviously...] You know him?

He's basically my little brother... how do you know him?

[feel_nevermore]

Pretty sure he's not from Mars, though.

I believe I just said that: back home, he's one of my teammates.

[mgann]

R-right, sorry. I guess I'm just still shocked.

[She takes a moment before responding.] It's sort of complicated, but we're linked. Do you think this has to do with the different world thing?

[feel_nevermore]

Linked? You and I you mean? Or you and BB?

[mgann]

I mean Beast Boy and myself.

[feel_nevermore]

You mean you and him feel like you're similar, although from different worlds?

[mgann]

No, I mean we have a common link. It's a long story, though.

Well it's not like I have a lot planned this morning.

[And although she won't admit it, every story involving her teammates, even Beast Boy, is important to her.]
