Hail and well-met. I am Thor, of Asgardia.

I would speak with the leaders of this Initiative regarding my untimely abduction.

[ The voice rolls, deep like thunder, promising that unfavourable events will follow for whoever is responsible for this if they aren't put in contact with him. He's been fighting mutated animals since he arrived three days ago, so don't hold it against him. ]

I seek also a bathhouse.

[ ACTION - feel free to encounter him around the Hold, still covered in the blood of his enemies and seeking somewhere to get clean. Personal bathrooms aren't a thing in Asgardia. ]

[Do they have to have this argument?]

I have not yet asked what time he is from- Loki the child did not yet have the magic to perform any feat like this. And Loki the man-

[Pause. Consider.] What does it serve him to trick so many from so many worlds to one place? I do not think he is the power behind our abduction.

[dusk_and_dawn]

[Yes, yes they do.]

[Balder frowns at talk of Loki being from another time. If that were true, why wouldn't Loki simply say so?] Perhaps he never truly reverted to a child.

What does it serve Loki to do anything that he has done? He says he does it simply because that is what he is.

[ofmyth]

[Thor shakes his head. For a long time he had been suspicious that Loki had not really changed when he had come back, even now he still is...]

And who would take Loki at his word? He does what he does to serve his purposes, transparent as they may be. Here he has removed himself from the Hold rather than seek a position of authority. There is naught for him to gain, no throne which he can claim, no world to rule.

[dusk_and_dawn]

There is still mischief for him to make and chaos for him to sow.

[He's saying to use your better judgment, Thor.]

What have I missed while I have been dead?

[Thor's better judgement says to leave him in the wilderness and visit him a lot. But when it comes to Loki Thor is quite biased.]

Much, brother. And I hardly know where to begin...

But I shall tell you that Loki, for all that he has more tricks to play as a child, seems truly to be doing what he can to prove himself to Asgard.

[dusk_and_dawn]

[Balder just purses his lips mildly. He knows that he can't dissuade Thor from treating Loki with infinite patience. He's simply resigned to it.

Still, it would be so much easier to hold himself steady against Loki if Thor weren't like this.]

And Asgardia is well?

Yggdrasil burns, and all the worlds with her. Sutur has been freed from his imprisonment. Vanaheim sits in rebellion, and the All Mothers have been imprisoned due to suspected treachery.

[Please, please don't ask if Loki had anything to do with it.]

[dusk_and_dawn]

[Balder is overwhelmed and speechless for a moment.]

And Loki had nothing to do with this?

[Sorry Thor.]

[No, if their roles were reversed, Thor would have asked the same.]

It was he who loosed Sutur, and his actions which contributed to the All Mother's imprisonment. But he acted out of great need in other situations- without him Asgarida would have been lost twice over.

[The memory is still fresh- Loki in tears after Thor's stern reprimand. I was only trying to help!]

He is only a child, Baldur. One full of tricks but still in great need of wisdom and guidance.

[dusk_and_dawn]

[Balder looks doubtful. Thor has a tendency to view Loki in the best possible light and give credit where credit is not due.]

So long as you remember the Loki here is not a child and does not want your guidance or seek wisdom.

[He shakes his head.] We must return at once. I do not trust them when they say we shall be returned to the moment we left.

[ofmyth]

Aye, I have spoken briefly with him. [And for a moment he does look quite sad that Loki is back to his prickly old self.

But there'll be time later to think about how best to handle Loki.] The power used to bring and keep us here is mighty indeed. I am certain it will return us to our proper times- though when we will be returned...

[dusk_and_dawn]

[He frowns.] Your patience is greater than mine, brother. [Which must be why he can deal with Loki.]

I cannot help but worry for those left behind.

[ofmyth]

As do I. [It is a weight in the back of his mind. Loki's words from earlier, that he would never see that world again, taunt him over and over.

The world he has known and loved and given his life to protect might end, because he is here.]

But it helps neither their plight not ours to worry. We must look to what lies before us.

[dusk_and_dawn]

[He sighs.]

All right. Lead the way, and I shall follow. [After all, dying means he's no longer Asgard's king ... thank Bor.] Just do not expect me to forgive the trickster just yet.
