That was a mess, wasn't it? The monsters, I mean. If things get that bad around here often, I can understand why you'd feel the need to bring me here. A world with no sun can never prosper.

Unfortunately, I'm not really in much of a position to help out at the moment.

Except it seems his talk of being on vacation was completely serious, since wherever it is you run into him he's sitting in a worn out looking deck chair with his hands behind his head and enjoying the sub-par weather.

[Blaine walks up, having seen the video and laughed at it before actually finding this guy doing the vacation thing. He takes a draw off a cigarette and flicks the ashes away against the wall.]

You'd be surprised at what you can find if you're willing to look.

If you want to keep up with the vacation shtick, you could at least have one of those tall glasses with the umbrella in it.

[Looks up at the dreary sky and shrugs] It's not really the weather for lounging outside either, unless you have a firepit.

I figure the weather's fine as it is, actually. But any colder and then I'd have a problem with it.

Hence the lack of a cold drink.
