I'm not even sure how that'd work they put people into the middle of a real war that doesn't make sense or do they lie to a bunch of people saying there's a whole war going on in the world and their allies keep changing because that and a paperweight are about what I remember from 1984. Oh, and some people could handle books while others couldn't?

it's actually got very little to do with the book. just a group of strangers kept in a house together for a painfully long time with lots of cameras recording their every move. big brother is watching you. that's the only similarity

And you're serious about that this isn't just a joke played on the kid from before reality tv got really big.

it was an interesting social experiment the first time they tried it, i'll admit. but by the 20th attempt- or however many times they've done it now- it got to be about money and 15minutes of fame, like so much of life is

Wow that really sounds boring. I like people watching as much as the next person, but I'd rather live through my own arguments and moneymaking attempts than watch a bunch of people I'll never meet do the same. They're not even doing anything cool! They're stuck in a house!
