It seems that not many of us were badly hurt by the attack, so that is good.

The question is, what are we doing to retaliate? We must make this United Earth frightened enough of us to never even THINK of daring to attack us so again. And if we cannot, we need to do more of this time travel nonsense until we can. Strike while the iron is hot, as I believe the saying goes.

I have never heard of Azeroth, or of these aspects you speak of, so I suspect your reasoning is sound.

Usually. A lot of dragons think me unusual for studying hominids as much as I do.

What do you study them for? More importantly, what aspect of humanity? I am the most curious over your answer.

How you think! How your hearts and minds work. Living in cities with thousands of your kin, working together. If we tried to build a city like humans did, the tension would snap within a year or two and instead of a city you'd have a pile of molten slag and a horde of angry dragons trying to kill each other.

You live a scant handful of decades, a century at the outside, and yet you have probably changed the world more than we ever shall. It's fascinating!

Having lived hundreds to thousands of years themselves, having their own sets of problems to handle that were nothing in comparison to their own. Truly remarkable in all aspects. ]

You hold an incredibly rare value over something that many others would dismiss. I wonder just what kind of world it is you hail from originally, dear friend. [ A bit too bold with her kindness, but oh well. ]

I'm also interested in giving my lair back where I came from a certainly level of authentic flair. It's an old, abandoned temple, you see, and was in bad need of repairs when I found it. The wall carvings alone will take decades to restore.

[In truth, his study is more similar to that of a man who studies ants to see how they build their nests, but he's found humans react poorly to being told this, so he'll keep it to himself.]

Restoration... ah, but would it be worth it? Some may say there is more value in something that is untouched even if it remains damaged.

[ Jaina can probably suspect that much at least, but she's not in any mood to seek out confirmation. ]

Some may say there is more value in food that has started to decompose because it brings out the full flavor.

"They" are free to say what they like. I don't want to eat carrion, and I don't want to live in a crumbling ruin.
