001 ❦ video

[when the feed turns on, a young woman appears on screen. she looks a little tired, but that's expected after what had just happened. she is sure to straighten out the netbook before speaking.]

I'd like to start an army, or something like it. I know we barely know each other, and I'm sure some of you prefer to work alone, but I feel like we could work together on this.

[she pauses, thinking for a moment.]

If this works, we can come of with something more planned and our efforts won't be as scattered.

[a brief smile,]

Anyone interested?

It's a good idea, but... I don't think a lot of people here are used to fighting in groups like that. You'd have problems if someone didn't get along with their team leader, too. [ Random moment of intelligence, go. ] I mean, I couldn't deal with someone who put themselves before other people.

Both, I guess. A leader's gotta be someone who protects everybody else, but they shouldn't see that as something that makes them better.

... Right. More people should think like that. [ Firmly. ] It doesn't matter if you've got powers or anything, either. Real heroes don't screw anyone over.

Yeah. I mean, it's probably easier to think like they do, but that doesn't make it right. [ She shrugs. ] I don't know if I'd work well in a group, but I hope it goes okay.
