[ The video starts black. Light cuts through in sharp lines, edging in around blades of grass. No, make that fur.

Fur that gains color into browns as it shifts away from blocking the camera's eye. The rabbit hops away down the table, disappearing for a minute. Two. When it comes back in view, it appears to be wearing tiny, lens-free glasses perched precariously on its twitching nose.

The rabbit sits back on its hind legs, ears swiveling forward and paws tucking close to its chest. When it glances toward the camera, it's almost like the rabbit winks. But it couldn't have.

( Measuring the distance between floor and table, Collette hops forward and then wiggles her rear in preparation for the LEAP OF FAITH! )

[ What is happening here. Franziska is confused!

( Collette's attack is supereffective! Collette leaps from the table to the floor and does a victory lap around Franziska! )

< AAAAAAAAH HAHAHA! Man that is such a rush! Ranziska, pick me up and put me back on the table, I want to try that again! >

( There is now a rabbit sitting in front of Fransika holding her paws up and open like she wants a hug. Or to be picked up.

Collette is not serious in her request, but she is seriously amused at Franziska's confusion. )

[ Picking up the rabbit and placing it firmly on her lap as she sat down. ]

No. You'll hurt yourself. You are going to be a good rabbit and we are going to wait for the real Collette to get home.

( Collette squirms around to look up at Franziska from her new home on her lap. )

< I'm home already. And trust me, you won't want me sitting on your lap when I go back to being my usual self. >

[ No. Not even if she looks at her with those bunny-rabbit eyes. ]

We'll see about that.

( Oh Franziska...! Rabbit ears perk forward, and she sneezes. )

< I'm on a time limit. If you don't believe me now, then will you believe me once I'm the usual me, sitting in your lap? Which will be totally awkward. And probably really gross to watch. >

[ Reconsidering her decision, she places the rabbit who has not yet proven herself to be Collette on the couch. ]

Don't make a mess while you do it.

( Collette only shook herself entirely once Franziska relocated her, offering the same warning she always did. )

< This will look gross. >

The process begins without further ado, a jerky, spastic sudden growth of hind legs with twisting knees, ears that shrink along with her muzzle, a torso that elongates and takes on human proportions while covered in patchy rabbit fur. White appears to cover that torso as the fur pulls in, Collette's dark hair pushing out between the rabbit ears as they move toward the sides of her face. The black pad of her nose stays even as it forms human shape, her lip retaining the cleft as her teeth pull back and pop out along her gumline.

When her lips form back to normal, the arms with paws at the end complete the dizzying, repulsive transformation into human hands and fingers and nails. Collette blinks as she finishes, pushing up into a seated position and arranging her legs, braced against the back of the couch.

She smiles and waves at Franziska. )

Told you it would have been awkward. I'm not wearing pants!

[ That was certainly gross and she has no words. She's trying to hold back the nausea as she throws a pillow at Collette and stomps away...

... to look for pants, a large shirt or anything the girl could wear in this house. ]

( Luck be with Franziska, but there is one very oversized for Collette sweater hanging off a chair in the kitchen. Isaac's things left behind after he was out this morning, conveniently around for repurposing by Franziska, should she so choose.

Collette catches the pillow, startled and half-laughing -- it's not so much amusement as an almost nervous response. It's only that Franziska isn't marching for the door that calms her own stomach after a panicked moment wondering if she'd accidentally gone too far. )

( She offers at last, leaning back against the couch for support. Trying to look more casual and nonchalant than she genuinely feels. )

[ She finds the sweater and brings it back to the living room. She refuses to look at Collette as she hands her the sweater, but it wasn't out of modesty. They were both girls after all.

No, it was because she still can't get that transformation sequence out of her head. ]

Is wearing a minimal amount of clothing a requirement for transforming or is it just you?

( As she takes the sweater, Collette is startled into laughter. Truly startled into it -- that question was one she expects and yet doesn't at the same time. )

Do you think I'd be demorphing in front of people like this for fun? I like you, Franziska, but to be honest, I like boys a lot more when we're talking like like.

( She tosses out the tease with a soft smile and a slight blush, remembering again how ridiculous this looks to anyone from the outside. )

My morph suit's out of commission right now, but it's just as, uh... well, we haven't figured out how to morph things that aren't skin-tight yet. They just... don't morph with us.

( Said as she's pulling the sweater on, catching a faint scent of Isaac along with it. )

[ How did this conversation go from morphing to boys? She frowns. Teenagers and their hormones. ]

So when you were shooting this video... you were hopping around in nothing but your skivvies?

[ Inappropriate. ]

Don't be silly. Bunnies don't have skivvies! They've got fur.

You're not a bunny. You're a human girl. And while some girls might be hairier than others, we do not have fur.

( Collette laughs again -- more giggles until it turns into something closer to a guffaw. )

Hahaha, yeah, you're right about that! I'm not one of the hairless ones, either.

( So to speak. Her legs are -- well. Like it matters! )

I'm not hiding around wearing my underwear. When I'm a rabbit, I'm a rabbit. It's not playing at being something else. I actually am something else!

I don't see what's so funny with what I just said. [ It actually sounds like her feelings got hurt. It's mostly her pride though. ]

What a foolish philosophy. You can't be anything or anyone other than who you are.

You're whoever you want yourself to be! As long as you're you, you're defining you. But seriously, when I'm a rabbit, I really am one. Rabbits don't wear clothes. They'd look like one of those Beatrix Potter books if they did!
