I just gotta say, a moon zombie encounter was exactly what I wanted for my birthday. You guys sure know how to make a person feel right at home.

But seriously, what the hell was up with that and can we nix that from the schedule in the future? If there are other zany, undead surprises lurking around here, it'd be great if you could give a head's up ahead of time.

That was a first. Usually we have more trouble with remorseless cyborg killers.

They're not my favorite, either.

Around here? Less than I'm used to. Not more than about once a month.

[Speaking of superhero lyf.]

I'm not sure what I'd do with myself if something weren't attacking Earth on a regular basis.

Maintenance. They pulled this place out of mothballs in a hurry and half of it still doesn't work. A lot of us have been running quickie missions for supplies, too. I'm thinking of heading out on one myself before the cabin fever gets too bad.

[She's shocked to hear that, really.]

In theory we're going to avert this timeline and be back planetside, but that doesn't help in the here and now.

[Sue is very blase about time travel because Fantastic Four.]

The temporal physics in this part of the multiverse seem to allow separation of the personal timeline from the universal one, but I really don't know enough to say anything about the mechanics of that. The upshot is, those of us who time travel to make the changes remember it, but no one else does.

[You don't stay married to Reed Richards as long as she has without picking up a few things.]

Find a group, offer to help. We're not that organized.

[Sue's been doing a lot of cooking, because she's good at making all this dried crap edible.]
