Do you honestly think that just saying 'sorry, someone hit the wrong button' is really going to cut it? You messed with our heads. Do you know what else messes with peoples' minds like you just did? Demons do. So care to explain to us how you may just differ? Because I see nothing in your defense.

[ There's a somewhat lengthy pause before Jo actually responds. This isn't something they just share back home, but this place has proven to be nothing like home and if she's talking about demons freely over the network... ]

They try to be secretive, but they aren't always very good at it. It's kinda my job to hunt them down and deal with them when they get out of hand. [ Them and ghosts and everything else that shouldn't exist. And "job" is sort of stretching it for her, but her mom's not here to correct her, so... ]

So then they live amongst you and pretend to look like everyone else? They don't possess others to do so or anything of the sort? [That's a little comforting and yet very, very disturbing...]

I never said that. They possess people, it's how they manage to actually exist on Earth, but they can blend in. Whether they want to or whether people just refuse to see what's right in front of their faces when their loved ones start acting like idiots, I'm not sure. Guess it depends on the demon.

Then the demons in our worlds may not be so different after all. [Sigh.] Regardless, I don't know of any demons here. No real demons, anyway. Just those who act as inhumane and cruel as they do.
