[She keeps it short, mostly because there's really only one important question she has for the moment.]
Where is the library?
And if there is not a library, who has books and would like to share and perhaps trade them?
[She'll ask more if and when anyone answers, and depending on how they answer. If there is anything she's learned in her life, it's that knowledge can be deemed dangerous by people, and there was no way of knowing which those people were.]

I'd be willing to simply give them to you. But for curiosity's sake, what are you offering to trade?

You can borrow them. Knowledge should be shared.

I wouldn't object to a meeting, though.

Perhaps the front of the apartments?
[text -> action]
[ He has to spend a bit searching his apartment for the notes he'd copied from Will, though. Gods, that'd been... how long ago? Six, seven? It felt longer, because of that stint in Brazil and Norway.
Bariyan manages to locate the papers eventually, shoved into a drawer at the bottom of his desk. He takes them in hand and rushes downstairs, to wait for Robin. ]
[action for now]

He frowns, and ventures closer. Hesitating slightly before turning the corner. ]

My apologies. You were... very helpful.
[It had made her suspicious. She smiled softly and held out a hand that matched the one from earlier, only this one was actually connected to the woman in question.]
Robin.

He gives her hand a good, long stare before he accepts her handshake. ]
Bariyan. Er... may I ask... [ he glances back over his shoulder to the corner. ] Your hands...?
no subject
A skill of mine.
[She wasn't the trusting sort; it wasn't anything personal.]

[ bariyan raises an eyebrow. he's less alarmed now that he'd sort of known what to expect, but he's still slightly put-off by the display. so many hands, so many limbs, it's just... unnatural.
granted, he's not one to talk about unnatural.
he coughs, and returns his attention to the stack of paper that he's brought with him. ]
These are the notes I was speaking of. Someone named Willard went through the library here and compiled them, earlier. About six months earlier. He's gone now. [ bariyan offers the notes to robin. they're loose, but neatly stacked. ] Here.

I'm sorry for your loss.
[but she has some curiosity]
Was Willard a historian?
no subject
I'm not certain what his occupation was. Though he seemed very dedicated to research. [ a shrug. ] Could be a historian, I suppose, but I do not believe he was from this world.

[She didn't shuffle through the papers, choosing instead to neaten them as best she could before tucking them under an arm.]
Send him... where? Where could they have sent him?

What do you spend your time and resources on?
no subject
Research. Whatever missions and mishaps that the Initiative throws our way. Trying to keep people safe.
To be fair, I haven't had much success in any of those things.

[she reached into her bag then, pulling out a book with a bright color and a sailing ship. It had some information on the history of some place by the name of Fishman Island, specifically]
A book for you. To borrow, as agreed.

Then he sighs, as he recalls the missions. ]
Two so far. One going back in time to defend a village from an invading army.... that later caused problems in this present, leading to the second mission. They tried to send all of us back to another point in time to fix things, but their technology malfunctioned. Some of us wound up trapped in the wrong place and time instead.

Where did you end up, if you don't mind me asking?
