And so the whining and complaining begins. So we start yelling and foaming and pointing out that yes, it is annoying to have fond memories - and not so fond - dragged out and bludgeon to death in front of others. The accusations fly, and words are tossed around, and again, we only prove one thing.

[ He is clearly not amused. The tightness around his eyes, the way his accent seems to have vanished, an edge in his voice instead of his usual soft purr. ]

We are spoiled children expecting the pony our parents promised is real and not a piece of molded plastic.

So. Continue the complaining. Continue the annoying disorder of getting nothing done but expecting it all to be perfected without any work. Go right ahead. Do nothing. Have nothing done but continual irritations to your state of mind.

[ Basically, if there was a more uniform presence between all these little groups people have formed, things wouldn't have been so traumatizing. That's his theory and he's sticking to it. But he has other matters to discuss. ]

Is there any reason to expect a better way to find dates on this miserable island? The dance music alone is more appalling than elevator music.

Well, I've heard the introduction and scanned this lovely network. But the one thing it was missing was any mention of dates. It seems rather like a serious oversight!

They do that because dating is not their priority.

[ And Takegami is not. He just doesn't have that piece inside of him though he could fake it if he needed to. But his tone does smooth out as he tries for soothing. ]

Do not worry so much. It was a computer simulation made to fool the senses. We did not truly face anything but mere shadows of our minds. If it were real, would you not be recovering from your wounds?

I did know him but it's still fine. He was an asshole anyways.

I did what I did. It makes you wonder where we start drawing our lines.

You were in a strange situation with people who are not trying to have a peaceful conversation but were trying to attack. That you reacted - even if it is badly to your mind - means that you had at least the knowledge to know how to defend yourself.

The line is that you know when to stop, take time to evaluate, and accept that staying your attack may be of benefit later on. [ It strikes him as being highly ironic that someone that kills for amusement and control is trying to reassure someone else about their killing instinct. ]

If you just kill and kill and kill, then you are a monster. No reason, no pattern, and no thinking.

Don't know what kind of parents you had, love, but mine didn't bear any kind of resemblance to a manipulative organization with a god complex; not even if you tally in our monthly allowance or free living space.

Most governments tend to see themselves as gods and that the people under them as being too stupid to know what is best for them. That is why this place is in such ruins as it is now.

As I have told other people, this is the lesser of two evils in this world. They at least are still trying to understand what a free will is and not brain washing us like the United Earth has done so to their people. After all, if they wanted willing peons from day one, they have the technology to insert a chip to make it so.

And we're supposed to be grateful for that, are we?

I've more than a little experience with lesser evils, and it's never been pleasant regardless of the circumstances. Can't really blame these people for being pissed off about it.

There are many things to be grateful for as there are many things to be mad about. The problem I have been seeing with this place is that most people are willing to slit their throats without first asking themselves how to work things to a more mutual understanding.

We want to go home. They want their world fixed. There could be a deal in the works, but so far, all there has been done is vague threats on our end and blotched attempts on their end. Getting pissed and lashing out is not the best way to install good intentions especially since we have committed assassination of their members before.
