Riku's back is to the camera, though his hand is on the keyboard. it more or less looks like he's getting a good survey of the room; you can hear a subtle exhale before he turns his attention back. he notes the blinking light atop the netbook with a quiet noise, and then proceeds to speak clearly, simply: ]

Sora's gone.

[ he chuckles softly, wryly. he can't help it. ] Guess he decided to go slack off back at home.

[ his smile quickly fades, though nothing but the lower half of his face (nose and mouth) can be seen. and seconds after, the video turns off. ]

The blackouts stopped three days ago. I haven't had one since.

He's my best friend. It's not easy, but I was here for months without him.

[He just stares for a moment, caught unawares at the question being turned around on him.]

Yeah, I'm good. Maybe a little homesick, but that's something I was expecting. Just makes me think a lot... We're all goin' through the same shit here. That maybe we should be helpin' each other through it.

You'd think the Initiative could spring for a counselor or two.

We should be helping each other out.

And we should. I just... Dammit, it's like we're all goin' in different directions and there ain't anybody to pull us together.

And even if there was someone, not all of us would listen.

Maybe what we need to do is break it down. Littler teams and shit, an' the leaders of the teams can work together. Organize it that way.

Yeah. Problem with lots of people is that it's kinda hard to get everybody movin' all together.
