[If you're used to seeing Finnick around the city, then you'll have noticed he hasn't been around for the past couple of days. In the background, there's definitely some nature going on, complete with a lake. He runs his fingers through his wet hair, looking... ruffled, irritated.]

I'm going to be staying out here for a few more days. [A beat.] Just curious, though. Is there anything else any of you would like to tell me, or do I have all the facts from the future now? [He's talking to Katniss and Johanna mainly, but feel free to be confused by that.]

Now if you'll excuse me, I have dinner to catch. [A grin slides across his face as he picks up his trident.]

To you. [Which is the crux of it. Peeta isn't selfish like Katniss is. Peeta wanted to help Finnick, in his own crazy way. Katniss just wanted Finnick to help her.]

You'd have found it important, if it was you. [Wow, Katniss. That's super rude.]

I don't know if I would have wanted to know. I don't even know if you did.

[She can feel panic starting to rise in her throat, choking. She just got Finnick back, she can't lose him again, even if it's just like this] Look, I get it. It was a stupid, selfish thing to do. I should have - I should have remembered, I should have told you, but I didn't, and you know now anyway. It's not like I could have said it any nicer or better than Peeta did anyway. [She's speaking a little faster, a little desperate]

I don't know if I do either, but that's... I should know. He's... [There's a groan.] I should know what's happening with Annie. [You'd want to know about Peeta. It's the same principle.]

It doesn't matter how anyone could have said it. [He doesn't know if he should be mad or upset or ignore this thing completely, because it's not as though he'll ever meet this kid. But maybe that's the point. He's dead and Annie's alone and Annie had their son. None of them should be having kids. None of them.]

There's nothing else I can say about not telling you. [She knows what he means, though, and her expression says that]

She - she's okay, Finnick. Better than most of us. She stood up to Coin on her own. She takes strength from your memory. And she isn't - alone. She's not. She misses you, but she's not by herself.

I don't know what else to say. I wish I could make things better. I wish I had been better. [Then he wouldn't be dead 8c]

[He doesn't know what to say either, so he simply stares. Not at the screen or Katniss, but in the broken down nature he's found himself in. It's quiet and peaceful, everything that his life hasn't been.

Except for with Annie.

It's out here that he feels more alone without her than he ever has, but that's kind of what he needs right now. He nods along to Katniss' words, smiling softly. His Annie. Strong, okay.] It wasn't your fault.

[There's no masking the relief on his face when he smiles like that. She ducks her head, blowing out a sigh and then shoving a hand back through her hair. Some skin flakes off] I'm never going to believe that.

[Gross.] You should take care of your hands. [And then a sigh.] I guess not. Didn't expect you to, really.

What? [blinking, and then looking down. She rolls her eyes] That happens. Mutt skin. [A quick breath in and out] And good. Don't.

Lotion would help. [You know. Make it look pretty. Or something.] I'm not.

[She wriggles her fingers at him and then plucks off a piece of skin from one of them. And then looks away from the screen]

Can I - do you need anything? For when you come back.

[He wrinkles his nose in feigned disgust.]

I'm not going to need anything, Katniss.
