[ Jo's on her way to the bank with the ticket the creepy woman gave her when she turns on the feed, so it bounces a little as she walks. ] Okay, other "transports", quick question: who all here thinks the woman that greeted us is completely insane, and who all bought her load of crap? [ Jo's not going to reveal, in so many words, how she feels but it's probably pretty obvious by the tone of her voice and the look on her face. ]

[An eyebrow raise.] I don't even really trust people who aren't strangers. [That'd be bad for survival.] But I've been here for four months or so.

[ Her eyebrow raises in response. Does he really not trust anyone? ] And everything she said is true?

[Trust is hard.] I haven't seen the enemy yet, but most of it seems to be.

Wait a second. You've been here four months and you haven't even caught a glimpse of what we're supposed to be up against? Are they that afraid of hostages that are being forced to fight?

The people United Earth is all I've got. Or... The government, as it were. But they'r more content in sending us to fix mistakes in the past than an actual fight.

Someone needs to tell them that messing around in the past is going to cause issues in the now. Not to mention the fact that they really should let things go; it's a hell of a lot healthier.

I don't know about that. Maybe the government they're fighting against is bad for the people. [A pause.] Some things are worth fighting for. Just not kidnapping people who have nothing to do with this.

Oh, no, I definitely agree with you, I just wish they would've passed out a sign-up sheet instead of pulling everybody here without any sort of warning and just expecting them to ask "How high?" when they're told to jump. That's all.

That I couldn't agree with you more on, and I'm sure you'll find that most of us feel the same way as well.

I guess that's comforting. [ It still doesn't change the fact that they're all here, though. ] Sort of.
