[He shut off the video feed so he could run. If Sollux went back in by the time he arrived, he would knock on the door.]

[Knocking? How strange.

Sollux opens the door, still kind of surprised he really showed up.]

Oh. Hey.

[When he saw him, Ico looked surprised. Somehow, he thought he would have been bigger than the troll was, but Sollux had a slight height over him.]

Hi, Sollux, it’s nice to see you in person. Which room is yours?

[He did not walk in yet because he was not invited. Still, he tried to look over his shoulder.]

[Sollux shrugs, and starts to head toward his room. Without inviting Ico in assuming he just follows after.]

[He waited at the door for a while but eventually he concluded it was okay to come in and follow. After all, he did come to help. When he saw the room, his jaw dropped at the mess.]

This is horrible! Your friend did this to you?

[He stepped over the red and blue cables and bunched his sleeves up.]

I don’t think I can fix anything here; it’ll have to be thrown out.

Yeah, I know. Jutht help me put it all in the corner.

[Broken wooden bedframe, and shattered dresser drawers abound.]

Don't touch anything electronic. Maybe I can thave that, but thith wood ith gone.

A corner? I can move it outside for you, if you want.

[He picked up a few broken pieces of wood and started to form a pile on top of a blanket. The bulkier items like the bed frame would be a problem but he could break it down later. One piece of table leg had a sticky coating at the end of it.]

What is this? Honey?

[That giant honeycomb looked like it made an awful mess, but it had a cables coming out of it so he did not bother with it.]

[As soon as the other mentions honey, Sollux panics and turns around to make sure he hasn't eaten it.]

DON'T TOUCH IT!! It'th toxic.

[At least, it's toxic to him. He's not sure of it's effects on humans.]

And yeah, I gueth we could put it outthide but that'd be a lot of work. We could jutht tossth it out the window.

[He was not about to eat anything off the ground, but Sollux said not to touch it so he dropped it immediately.]

What is it? How’re we going to clean it up?

[He looked at the honey and then realised what Sollux just said next.]

Hey, you can’t throw it out the window. Someone might get hurt. Don’t worry about it, I’ll do it.

I don't clean it up. If it getsth to be too much, I bottle it up and throw it away.

And tho what?

[Well it sounded like Sollux knew what to do with it so Ico stayed away from the honey. As long as he did not touch it, everything should be okay. He picked up that table leg by the clean end and dropped it on the pile.]

I’ll carry it outside myself so don’t throw anything out the window.

[At first, he assumed Sollux just meant to throw it out the window and leave it there.]

You will? But aren’t you worried about getting hurt?

[He held onto a drawer shelf. It was broken but still not small enough so he split it over his knee.]

[As he neglects to mention telekinesis...]

I'll go outthide.

[And oh hey, telekinesis becomes a thing now, what with him suddenly levitating, and flying out the window.]

Ah!

[He jumped back in surprise and stepped in the honey. In the back of his mind, he may have wondered why his sandal did not melt off but he was marvelling over this telekinesis revelation.]

How did you do that?

[He leaned out the window and looked at the ground below. The scraps of wood were still in his hands so he prepared to throw it at Sollux.]

I uthed my mind.

[He shrugs, like that's an accurate explanation, and prepares to catch the pieces of wood. Again, with his mind.]

I've alwayth been able to do thith.

[It sounded familiar to him and Equius had used a strange word to talk about it. He threw what remained of the drawer and then scratched the base of his right horn.]

So, is that psionics then?

[He put more scraps onto the pile and grabbed another armful to throw. Most of the mess was in a neat pile now except for the broken bed frame.]

Yeah. How'd you know that'th what they're called?

[Sollux catches all the bits of furniture being thrown with ease, as he continues to float outside the window.]

THAT'S OKAY BACKTAGS FOREVER!

Equius told me about it, but I don’t understand it.

[He began throwing the scraps one after the other without pause.]

What else can you do with it?

[Once Sollux has all the scraps, he grins slightly.]

I'll show you.

[And then, whilst floating still, he crushes the pile of scraps to compact as much as possible. He lowers his glasses, and then, BAM LASER VISION. He manages to control it enough to keep it small and controllable as it sets the ball of furniture pieces on fire.]

[Ico had assumed that Sollux could crush objects but the eye lasers were a surprise. It shocked him so much that he fell back. The fire alarmed him.]

How can you do that? It doesn’t hurt your eyes?

[And that was the reaction he was looking for. To be a show-off.]
