Most all cats seem to like playing in some way! Especially things you can dangle in front of them like string or things they can chase around, you can take a flashlight and some will even run around and try to catch the light.

They all have different personalities though, so you'll have to see just what cat likes what. Some are a lot calmer than others, for example and might prefer just to be in your lap and petted.

Some seem to really like scratching things too, so if you ever get one make sure you get a scratching post!

D --> It's impossible to catch the light it casts on various surfaces, that just seems f001ish and belittling
D --> A calmer cat seems like it could be a more fit companion, though if all calm cats enjoy being pet I would have to e%ercise e%treme caution around them

D --> It seems counter productive to entice a feline's need to use it's claws when you wish to domesticate them

Ehh? Really? Do they still have really strong people do things like balance cars on their head or pull a plane with their teeth where you're from?

There always seems to be a strongman doing something like that on TV back where I'm from.
