[Long time no speak, Exsilium.

Johanna's clicking on the voice feed to ask an important question. For those of you who have spoken to her before, you can tell her tone is lacking its usual bite, colored by exhaustion.]

We got any useful people with powers out there? Ones that aren't all talk and whine.

[There's a scratching sound and an lengthy yawn.]

This rain has gone on long enough.

[She pauses, and something almost sad flickers across her face before she rolls her eyes] You're one of those. [She places her hands on her hips, fingers closed over the mirror] I'm doing this because I like doing magic, and the last time I had a chance to do it, it wasn't very pleasant. So I'm going to take the chance to do it as often as I can now that I don't have to worry about being possessed. You're just providing an opportunity for me to do what I want. [Raising an eyebrow] Feel better?

[For all that her attitude is sort of airy, Snow's been watching the other woman pretty closely. She notices the way her eyes narrow, and then huffs at the smile] Don't pretend to like me. It's annoying.

And yes, possessed. You don't have demons in your world?

[Snow's own expression softens a little. Yes this is good, much better] Well, I appreciate that gesture, at least. With skin like mine, I'd be walking around with a hand print on my cheek for weeks.

[She pauses for a moment; her hand lifts to her eye almost unconsciously before she lets it drop and pretends like Johanna didn't said anything else]

Mirror, mirror, small and clear
Keep water from this woman here.

[She holds the mirror at arm's length, squinting at it] Do you have one of those shower things?
