Johanna's clicking on the voice feed to ask an important question. For those of you who have spoken to her before, you can tell her tone is lacking its usual bite, colored by exhaustion.]

We got any useful people with powers out there? Ones that aren't all talk and whine.

[There's a scratching sound and an lengthy yawn.]

This rain has gone on long enough.

You're the one making promises you can't keep.

[A pause as his head tilts.] So start running, Johanna.

voice;

[Switching over now as to avoid giving away her location.]

You'd better show up or I'm going to kick your ass once this rain is over.

[He'll go ahead and switch over as well, but there's no mistaking the smugness in his voice.] You'd have to find me first.

[He closes the netbook and leaves the room, heading for Johanna's place. He's been here enough times that he just lets himself in.]

Now, where are you hiding...

[Keeping quiet from her hiding spot in the kitchen here!

The closet and a few cupboards are barely open, one of them being the place she's hiding in now. She's just waiting for him to turn his back...]

[He looks around the room slowly. Finding someone in a building is much harder than looking for signs of a hiding place outside. At the same time, however, there are only a finite number of places that Johanna can hide herself in. Pros and cons.

He turns around, opening the closet cautiously.]

[She opens one of the cupboard doors carefully, trying to prevent minimal squeaking before charging at him full speed with the intention of knocking him off balance. He may be bigger but getting him on the floor is a start.]

[And while he knows that she's here, in the apartment, he's actually not all that prepared for her flying at him full speed. Anyone would fall over at that point, his back hitting the ground hard, the breath knocking out of him even as he tries to laugh.]
