video;
[There's a certain dog snuffling at the communicator when it turns on. In fact, his nose actually turns the device off and onto audio for several moments, the sound of his heavy breathing filling the microphone.]
Off, you lush. I need that.
[The mic is covered by something - fabric, actually, in an attempt to clean off the device - and then it switches back to video. A woman with red hair can be seen looking over the communicator critically, looking for scratches and cracks. The dog is gone and she settles back. It's easy from this angle to see the Warden-Commander's crest on her armor, even if it's partly covered by a curtain of hair.]
I wish to speak to whomever's in charge of bringing recruits here. They have no authority to conscript a Warden in any way, not without first making an appeal to Weisshaupt. If I cannot have an audience with the leader of this outpost - [or whatever it is] - then I would speak with anyone else who carries a position of authority.
[She knows her stuff, clearly. She frowns into the camera, tapping it once. She sighs, glancing at her dog. The commanding aura nearly vanishes, replaced by exasperation.]
...I'm speaking to myself, aren't I?
[Elissa glances back to the device, fussing with it once more. It turns off.]

Great.]
Yes, I've heard from someone about being resurrected. Frightening prospect, really.
[Yep, that comment just went over her head.]
I didn't realize you were brought here too, Anora.
[video] what if i responded with the right account this time.
[sorry Elissa, she knows you as being dead as a door nail after smiting the Archdemon and all that jazz.]
Ah, well here I am, and have been for some time. And I am pleased to inform you that with your arrival we now have a fairly numerous set of Grey Wardens amongst us now.
[video] hey, chell works too
[She almost smiles.]
Yes, so I've heard. It's fortunate, I suppose, though this could mean serious complications for the Wardens back in Thedas.
[video] i guess she could~ y'know, if she talked.
Maker's breath, I hope I don't have to actually spell it out.
[she doesn't. not really. you did what you had to do, after all, and in the end it panned out well enough for Anora and the rest of Thedas.
well, for her timeline at least. she might have been minus a father, but she understands having to make the tough decisions.]
As far as we all know, time stands still while we remain here. I doubt the Wardens back home notice that their recruits are missing.
[video] WILD GESTURES
And...that would explain why I didn't even realize any of you were missing.
[Though she has no idea where Anora is anyway right now, oops.]
anyways she was totally being an awesome queen and getting re-coronated and re-married and all that fun queen stuff.
totally not locked away in a tower no siree. not this playthrough.]
Then I suppose that settles that belief.
[Though she still has some issues to work out, they can wait for another time, once she's acclimated to this place.]
How long have you been here?
[she spent like a whole month in Woodstock but that only amounted to a few days as far as Exsilium goes so it's just
really
confusing okay]
Could you explain that just a little better?
[she frowns herself. Anora looks most displeased as she thinks about her recent shenanigans through time.......]
What is a month in one era may only constitute as a few day's time here in Exsilium. You may return finding only three days have passed.
[Aaaand she feels the headache coming on.]
Has it, at least, been successful? Have their been casualties because of this...time traveling?
Of our numbers? Outside the random disappearance, no. As I said, the dead rise around these parts.
[She frowns even further.]
...Random disappearance?
[With six Grey Wardens, maybe their task will be quicker.]
But there have been those who have disappeared whom you knew here.
[And were fond of is unspoken, but there.]
[Anora doesn't often make any friends you're assuming the best of her, Elissa.]
I'm sorry. I hope they've gone back to a safer place than this.
They probably have.
...You said people come back from the dead. Will they still be able to be sent home if they die here?
[SUBTLY. HINTS.]
[She's never going to get used to this.
AND THAT WAS A TERRIBLE HINT.]
[QUIET YOU IT WAS A WONDERFUL HINT.]
I almost wish there was more magic here. At least then, I'd know people who were able to handle it.
