[peter's pretty good with silence. he's tired and cold and his arm hurts and now that isaac's safe what just happened is really sinking in, so the quiet isn't unwelcome.
the sun is just peeking over the horizon by the time they get back to the apartment, and peter wastes no time in getting all of his outdoor clothes off. he saves his jacket for last, though, wincing a little as he slides his arm free.
it's not very light in the apartment with the curtains closed, but isaac is probably familiar enough with the smell of dried blood. peter doesn't say anything about it, though, just heads for the kitchen, carefully removing his shirt as he starts running the tap for warm water.]
