All right, I think I've finally found my way around this thing. And what better way to use it than broadcasting what I have so far of my newest work? I usually have Varric give my friend-fiction a quick read before I share it with anyone else, but I think this snippet is particularly fantastic. It's dedicated to a certain new sparring partner I ran into.
Settle down, everyone, Aunty Isabela's got a story for you all.
Settle down, everyone, Aunty Isabela's got a story for you all.
A second before he was but a small pup, but now there stood a tall, handsome brute of a man. Ren, they call him. His bulging muscles moved powerfully underneath his thick cloak, foretelling a hidden strength that couldn't so easily be seen in his softer features. Pink, plump lips parted as he spoke, his voice a deep, alluring baritone.
His expression remained as still as an untouched lake's surface as he began to strip his clothing. The cloth fell heavy. What was left was skin as white as snow, marked with striking tattoos that resembled sharp claws. Oh, he was a beast all right, but not in the ways anyone expected.
He looked as if he could split any man or woman in half with the force of his passion, more powerful than any spell, but his shy demeanor had an allure of its own as well. How could anyone resist such a delicious, sculpted man? Even his buttocks appeared personally shaped by the Maker Himself. What any man or woman would do to grab hold of that forbidden treasure. But alas, that is an excavation for another day, another night underneath the sheets.
UNHOLY SHRIEKING
This does not read very appropriate. [A long, awkward pause. He just doesn't know what else to say but if he weren't a dog right now his face would be completely red and embarrassed. It's a good thing that doesn't translate to a mechanical voice.]
I love you
i cant believe i agreed to this
i'm still not sorry for it
video btw

Oh, I—w-what is this? What an indecent... Are you saying you have met this person? And that you are writing about him? How are you so certain that he could do those things?
[ Because she's not sure if she can handle meeting this man in person. Not that she expected to! Shut up. ]
voice
[An affectionate laugh. This girl sounds ADORABLE.] I have met him, and trust me. I haven't seen him in action, but I have a good instinct on these matter.

There's no easy way to ask why you're writing porn about a dog, is there?

[Perhaps predictably, Seviilia's voice is most unruffled. She found Gilneans -- werewolves, worgen, whatever this world called them -- insufferable.]
I would be careful sharing your bed with a worgen if that is your plan. You never know when the beast will win the war over the man.

Will you be writing more and sharing it? Or simply teasing us with just this?

Why would you put something like this here? What is friend fiction supposed to be?
Is this about a real person?
voice;
Ren is indeed real- would you like to meet him?

It is good to see you have found other subjects for your little...stories.
Voice
You should have seen him- and so shy, too!
Did you enjoy it?

A smut novel in the works? I think that's gotta be a first over the network. "Friend fiction", huh.

Rose keeps to text though because she doesn't trust her voice to keep how much she's enjoyed the little snippet of hideous semi-erotica to herself]
I must say, your use of descriptive adjectives is quite impeccable. Oftentimes authors fall into the trap of attempting to show rather than tell without possessing the ability to do so.

I used to have a friend who'd help me along with all this writing business. I think this place could use a bit of spicing up, don't you agree?

voice;
Hmmm, what happens next, what happens next? Is it written yet?
What does he do after he takes off his clothes? Is there someone else there? Ah! Does Ren have to go on a big adventure and look for them?!
voice
No, he'll vocalize that, that's important.]
Because that's a little creepy.

[She's blushing a little. Someone hasn't read dirty romance novels before.]

What a wonderful story! A friend-fiction is a story about a friend, right? So your sparring partner is a puppy who can turn into a man?
