You know, I know there are others here who celebrate Winter Veil, but I haven't heard a thing about it. [She's obviously teasing. She's not actually surprised that the grumpy elf brigade doesn't want to do Fake Christmas.]

It sounds similar to what everyone else is talking about...Christmas, yes? We have presents and a man who brings them. But Christmas is over now, isn't it? Winter Veil continues until after the new year.

I suppose we are all too busy to celebrate much. But I wanted to say something anyway. I would feel like a bad mother otherwise. So...happy holidays.


There was something else I wanted to mention, too. Has anyone made good terms with the natives? They....are not very fond of me, yet I would like to do some business with them. I cannot forage for everything I need.

Yes, isn't it? Even with little things, like holidays. But I'm still not certain why it is called "Christmas".

Have you seen the domed greenhouses they use to grow gardens? I would like the materials for one.

Well, it was a religious holiday... I know but a lot of people don't celebrate the religious aspect part. At least it was never very religious in Japan.

Mm, I have. I was thinking of building a small one for where I'm living. I'm sure getting materials shouldn't be too hard. [ hopefully. ]

Ohh....I see. We have some of those too...religious festivals that everyone ends up celebrating. [She chuckles a little.]

Yes, the more we have, the better. I will procure anything they wish to trade, or the money, but they don't like speaking to me. They are giving me...inflated prices, I think. [ :|b that's racist.]
