[There’s a girl staring down at the netbook in blank incomprehension. Observant people might notice the burn scars on her hands, crawling up her neck. Slowly, her gaze drags upwards to see the light that indicates the camera’s on, and recognition flickers in her eyes. She sets the netbook down and sits on a bed nearby, curling her feet under her. One hand is clenched around a bow, and the quiver is on her back already] You can see me, can’t you. [It’s not a question, and she doesn’t even appear to be addressing the camera.] Of course you can. They’re always watching.
It was supposed to be over. All of this. The fighting, the killing. It was supposed to be over. And don’t tell me there might not be killing. You don’t hand a victor a weapon and expect them not to use it.
[She stands, swiftly, drawing an arrow from the quiver and setting it on the string in one smooth movement. It’s aimed at the netbook. The expression on the girl’s face is almost too intense. A smile touches her lips, but there’s nothing positive in the expression] If you want me to fight for you, I’m going to need you to bring me Peeta.
[Her arms jerk up, aiming elsewhere, and the arrow is released. There’s a crash that indicates she hit something, and judging by the look of hard satisfaction in her eyes, it’s what she wanted to hit.] I could use Haymitch, too.

Video; sob this is going to be hideous isn't it
What did you mean by a 'victor'? If it isn't rude to ask, of course.
Video; LMAO quite probably
There's a long pause here; something in her expression loses its focus, almost like she's not quite there.] You grew up without the Games?
Video;
Video;
[Her expression loses some more focus, and while she's looking at him, it's more like she's trying to look through him to see what's behind his head] Twenty four go in, one comes out. The victor is the one. [A humourless smile touches her lips] Or one of two, in my case.
Video;
[He blinks, though.]
Are you ll right, miss? You're acting a bit -- odd.
Video;
[She rubs her neck, where the burns scars are] Probably not. [She doesn't seem too concerned by that, though.] You should ask Johanna about the Games. She'd tell it better.
Video;
[He's thinking of Anora, mostly.]
Well, I'll -- keep that in mind. You've gotten to your lodgings all right, though?
[She doesn't seem like she's in any condition to be wandering around the city.]
Video; LMAO i am so sorry for her
[She is definitely not in any condition to be wandering :'D] I'm not going to wander off and kill myself, if that's what you worried about.
Video; never apologize! D< She's great
I'm sorry to hear that. And I wasn't actually thinking anything that awful. I just didn't want you to be alone in a strange place.
[She seems young, at least compared to this world's standards.]
a-aww thank you!!
Video;
Er. If you're needing an escort anywhere, I'd be happy to assist.
Video;
Video;
[And did she say -- dead? That probably means that she's just seeing things, unless...]
The dead friend. Are they some manner of UN-dead?
[Because he's pretty sure he'd be obligated to strike them down if that's the case.]
Video;
The grin promptly disappears as she slips back into her memories] I watched...the mutts bite his head off. They were after me but they took him instead.
Video;
I'm sure your friend was happy to have protected you, in that case.
But I'm -- sorry, about that.
Video;
He's not happy to be dead.
Why? It's not your fault.
Video;
[And after a moment he adds, hesitantly,] No matter how often it might come up.
Video;
Video;
You did ask.
