[Preaching is something Kevin can do blindfolded, but socializing is not by far his specialty. In fact, right now he wishes he was blindfolded. And yet he is braving the terrifying audience of strangers to deliver his very important invitation. It is that time of the year, after all.]

G-good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Please allow me to apologize for infringing on your time. However, I wonder if any of you would be interested in joining a little amateur choir? The city seems odd without proper Christmas carols, wouldn’t you agree? Fortunately, I have had the honor of directing a few church choirs in the past, and happened to find a place that seems just right. [He casts an uncertain glance over his shoulder, revealing a dark and creepy museum hall.] …As long as one refrain from feeding the penguins, I suppose. [He redirects his attention to the tablet with a self-conscious cough.] Perfect acoustics, I tell you!

Ah, and for those adventurous enough to give it a try, there will be cookies and hot cocoa after every rehearsal.

[Cookies and hot cocoa should not be viewed as a bribery for heaven. Not at all. Why, even the most prayerful can use a little nudge now and then.]

Oh my, no audition should be needed for something like that. We expect beginners of all kinds. We shall start rehearsals as soon as a few potential choir members arrive at the museum.

[Kevin has all time in the world.]

[ She gives a light, joyful laugh. ] That's even better! Everyone has to begin somewhere, after all. And making it for fun is a great way to open the choir to everyone.

How about I head over right now and give you a helping hand? If you need me to, I can help set up or just start singing! With you or with anyone already there. Oh! Or maybe I can help you pick out songs?

[Ooooh, the lady understands!]

Oh please, madam. I would love to! My repertoire is a tad dated, you see...

Great! I'll head over right away.

[ She hesitates, then sheepishly: ] Sooo... Where is the choir meeting again?

There is an abandoned museum just outside town, madam. My companions and I have succeeded at reclaiming it.

[Kevin proudly sends a map to her tablet. He has learned this particular function just for this purpose!]

[ Oh, that's handy! ] Thanks! I'm on my way.

[ ... though, that reclaiming thing worries her a little. ] No one got hurt while you were, um, "reclaiming" it, right?

[Well, if you count penguins.]

Everything has been all right, though a little exhausting.

[ The penguins totally count. ]

Whew! That's good to hear. Exhaustion isn't the greatest but at least after some rest, you can get back to your old self in no time.

[They are fierce and highly intelligent!]

Fortunately, some of us are rather used to that.

[The most exhausting part is making Mister Break help too.]

[ But they're also adorable. ]

Boy, I'll say. Still, sometimes it isn't so bad if you feel accomplished afterward. Did you when you reclaimed the museum?

[They hurt us and they mean it.]

W-well, I could not say it is completely reclaimed, but we are drawing near our goal.

[As in Chrysos tried to fix our heating system but gave us earthquakes instead.]

[ And who said you had to hurt them back!! ]

It isn't? [ Hmm. ] Then maybe I can help with whatever's left when I get there.

[Survival of the fittest! (Spoilers: the fittest, as far as they could ascertain, are the penguins).]

We will not turn down any help. The museum is rather large.

[ At least that means the poor penguins can defend themselves. ]

Great! So what's left to do?

[One day we will timejump and they will be ruling us in the planet of the penguins.]

We have not started decorating yet. Though I should warn in advance that it might be quite a challenge.

[Since this place is beyond creepy.]

[ And that world is sure to be a great one. With a lot of singing and dancing. ]

I don't mind. Besides, how hard can it be? And if you don't have enough decorations, I could always try to barter for some.
