[Gale takes a hold of his communication device as soon as the woman who greeted him is gone and scrolls through the "Introduction" app quickly before bringing up a video stream. His face is as emotionless as ever, but his voice is terse.]

My assumption is that this video is streaming to other devices of this kind.

My name is Gale, of Tribe Embryon.

I was given an adequate explanation as to why I am here. However, I was not given an explanation as to the cause of my being here, and I request information from others who may know. In all of these documents left on this device there is no file or volume detailing the how.

[The foggy memories of his comrades and their final battle aren't new to him. He only wonders why his body hasn't changed this time. Same clothes, same face. He can even feel the Atma Virus still running through his veins.]

This situation is neither uncommon nor strange to me, it is simply the means that remains illogical.

Various dimensions. I assume you mean alternate artificial worlds?

Artificial? I don't think so? I mean like legit other worlds. People here come from all over the damn place. Places I thought only existed in books or movies.

The idea of true separate worlds is foreign to me as well. Others have explained the means of it all to me already. Do you know why, though? Beyond this Initiative I have read about.

Y'mean, like, why they all bring us here? To fight for them to fix this shitty place, for the most part. Things have changed a whole lot, though. It used to pretty much be an all-out war against the UE, but we changed the timeline so much now that I have no idea how we're gonna fight 'em.

Do they not have their own tribes to deal with the United Earth?

The Initiative used to be a lotta people, but it was a drop in the bucket against what the UE was like. So no, not really. That's one of the reasons they brought in all 'a us.

Now... Now I don't even know what the deal is. The UE is still around, and probably still bad, but I have no idea how bad or what they're up to anymore.

Has information been lost? Or have they simply been inactive?

I think it's more like we gotta figure out what they've been up to since everythin' got so changed around. They're still active, but well, they've been doin' something completely different since we last dealt with 'em. This place wasn't always a winter wonderland.

Not usually. We just screwed with time so much, this is what it's like now. It used to be post nuclear winter. Dark, dreary, raining all the time. And I do mean all the time.
