After some time here— enough to make a good go, I think— I have concluded that I'm not cut out for space. My wife would say I'm not cut out for anything! And maybe she's right. Maybe I was born, maybe I was made. I don't think I was cut out.
Some think government is a necessary evil. Some think it's not even necessary, I bet. People who are a lot more clever than I am have been trying to talk together a government here for quite a while. But that's what they say about the speed of bureaucracy! I don't want to get into all that, since I prefer to be disagreeable in more amusing ways… [ He lets that drift off, a bit. ]
But it got me wondering! Maybe not everyone here is used to a government! Or a council, or having any say in how laws fall onto them. Where I come from, the priests rule, and the high priest, they say, has the ear of God.

[ Honestly, all she really knows is that they've killed a lot of people, and that's plain unacceptable. ]
It's no bother! Ah, I miss some parts of it, I think. The country is beautiful. But I don't...have many fond memories of my home so it's less that I miss it and more that I wish I did.
