It feels weird posting here after everything that has happened. The first day after I arrived, someone told me things weren't usually this hectic. And I doubt R.E.M envisioned zombies, grenades and mutinies when he wrote Man on the Moon.

But now I think I can suspend my disbelief and accept that I have been here before and can't remember a sodding thing about it. So, this is a re-introduction. My name is John Watson and I'm a doctor. I would like to help if I can and apologize to anyone I might have accidentally ignored.

I'm glad to hear it. Still, I want to avoid offending anyone I might pass in the hallway because I don't say hello to them. I am hoping it will be less awkward with this post.

That's right. I was an army surgeon. Recently though, I have been doing the odd locum job. Before I came here obviously.

I think it's good enough. I can't say everyone ever always reads every post but you probably caught the attention of most people who'll recognize your name.

We're always in need of someone who knows something about medicine, actually. We've been getting evacuations to moons, zombie attacks and mutinies these last few months and too many non-doctors to doctors. So if you could help...

Yeah, there have been quite a few posts lately. It won’t surprise me if this one gets buried: there are more important things to discuss. At least I am covered this way.

Yes, I remember getting attacked by those zombies. Sort of. Someone was there to help me get back to the North Wing without being bitten.

I really do. The alternative is to sit around twiddling my thumbs. I can't afford to be bored. Not in a place like this.

I'm glad to hear you got out of it safe. I'd like to say it doesn't happen often, but it does happen often. At least as of late.

We have a clinic or at least I think there are people who've been working with things related to the clinic. But we've also got this guy named Asbel Lhant trying to find people who can be contacted for those kinds of jobs, like helping get supplies, to anything medical. Kind of just an emergency contact squad.
