[ When the feed clicks on, you're met with the confused but guarded face of Dean Winchester. He's seen these kinds of tricks before, but the setting has changed. ]

Okay, what the hell is going on? If this is some shitty trick then I ain't laughing. [ He's used to all sorts of crap but this is pushing it. ] Honestly, this bullshit about being in the future and fighting some battle? I know you're the creative type but come on.

So, answers. Give 'em to me before things turn ugly. I ain't sittin' around quiet and pretty this time.

[ Cue arms crossed. He's waiting. ]

Catch me and bring me back, huh? Yeah, I don't know about that. [ But before that, he needs to learn more about the people who would be coming after him. Also, after a bit of a pause - ] Is...death permanent here?

Startin' to sound like they don't give a shit if they send us back or not, just as long as they get to use us.

[ There's a twist to his lips, kind of if he wasn't too surprised by the response and disappointed by not being surprised. ]

The Masked are not like normal people. They are all the same, wear the same armor, and move as if one machine than several humans in suits. If you evade one group or manage to defeat them, the second group will catch you because by then, they will know everything about you.

I believe that they can restore people, but I have not seen it. We have in our numbers a couple magic wielders that will heal you.

[ He pauses for a moment, twisting the rings around on his fingers while trying to remember what else before giving a nod. ] I think they care in an abstract way, but we are too alien to them in many ways.

[ No time for your disappointments, dude, there are plenty more questions to go through! ]

Right. And how would they know everything about me? Are they people at all -- as in, humans?

[ Magic? Frowning, though of course, he's not that surprised. Plenty of magic wielders back in Attollo too. ]

Great. Well, while they take lessons in carin' and sharin', I'm gonna work on finding a way outta here, the rest be damned.

[ He'll be disappointed as much as he wants. ]

There's flesh and blood under the costumes they wear, yes. [ He is not going to say how he knows - Takegami just has that knack at picking up on people. ] I believe that they somehow analyze what makes you you and then they design a way to defeat it and share the information.

[ He shakes his head, plush lips forming a slight pout and then mutters a string of Japanese. ] Sō gankona anata no amerikahito... Good luck in trying.

Hm. [ Analyzing, huh? That complicates things. ] Well, if they can bleed, they can die. Just a matter of catchin' 'em off guard.

[ Curious look. ] You're -- [ He might not know what this guy just said, but; ] Japanese, right? [ And oh - ] Uh, thanks.

Yes, I am. I come from Okinawa, but had made Tokyo my home until I was brought here. [ He smiles ever so slightly; he had been calling Dean a stubborn American. ]

[ Dean peers at the guy for a good long second. ]

So Tokyo, huh? Now this is a shitty place to end up from there, I guess. [ Not that he's ever visited. ]

It is rather quaint in its entertainment and the lack of good night clubs is rather boring, I will grant you that. But considering that my circumstances just before my arrival here were not of the best, I find it a mixed blessing to say the least.

You could call it that. [There's just a hint of something unpleasant on his face before it is gone. After all, most serial killers do get caught and end up executed unless judged too insane to understand right from wrong. ]

Right. [ Have a wary look. Dean figures this guy isn't his mess to deal with though...not that he knows he'll be roommates with him yet. ] But whatever, glad someone's enjoying this place then.

It does grow on one. [ Just wait until they run into each other. Talk about all the fun roommate times they will have. ] I do hope you don't get too involve in trying to leave.

[ Best times. ] What? Why not? We don't all wanna stay here, you know.

There are more important things to worry about than getting home. Arriving to a home that remains at it suppose to be for one.

[ Cue confusion. ]

You were brought here from a certain Earth. Who is to say that your Earth has remained frozen while you did what needs to be done?

[ Dean's quiet for a long time, having not even thought of that. ]

No way - [ Back on Attollo, time hadn't moved in his home world. But of course that could have changed here. ] How do you know?

I do not know, however I have formed the theory because of how little our hosts seem to know about their own equipment which were copies of equipment the United Earth uses. Copies can have flaws.

[ As the conversation gets weirder, so do you, dude. ]

Hasn't anyone gone home and come back? [ It might be a long-shot question but that was how it had worked in his previous location. Sometimes people would go home only to come back with memories of Attollo intact, sometimes not. ]

[ Cue evil laughter! Only not in the video because you newcomers are so precious. ]

None that I am aware of.

[ Watch his face fall for a second. ]

Whatever. If that's how it is, then that's how it is.

I could be wrong, but so far I have not seen it.

Probably not the only person around here who hopes you are.

[ He's quiet for another minute before shaking his head -- clearing his thoughts. ]
