I don't expect replies or any chatter, but considering our success, I decided a thank you note was the least I could do. Thanks to all the research and footwork that everyone has done, we can now stop worrying which next big power usage is going to do blow out our life support, among other things.
Regardless of what happens from hereon out, remember, this was a win. We set a goal and found a solution for this and I have no doubt that it is within the power of the Transports to do the same for our bigger dilemmas.
Once again, thank you for your help and hard work.
This would have been impossible without all of you.
[ Yeah, yeah, normally Caesar isn't big on this kind of stuff, but this is definitely a situation that requires some measure of gratitude. ]

I've been wondering, actually, 'cause with all this energy stuff it made me think about how much energy the UE needs to run their own portals. Keeping those things open, stuff like that, it takes a lot! I wonder if we can't track down those sorts of power stations and figure out if any link back to major operations. Like... when we were all kidnapped, that's the thing, they weren't at a portal but they were preparing to move out to one.
So they need a lot of power to do these things, and someplace stable. That's more than we knew back when I was demanding we first needed to find them, and it's something we definitely still need to do. I know there's all these other concerns... but they're hurting people, they can keep destroying things, and we don't know the origin of the whole Transport Pad or what the UE uses at all. Have we ever seen mention of it anywhere?

i have no idea what the answer to most of your questions are, okay?
while it might be a good plan of action to take once we're actually able to (finding the power source the UE draws on), there'd only be so much we could do with it. the last thing we need is for them to decide to bomb us AGAIN before we're properly re-settled.
i'd say finding their sources will be more important for if we ever begin planning a direct offensive, so at best it'd only be something we would keep on record for later.

I wouldn't know what to do with a direct offensive that wasn't about strike and run if it hit me in the face and walked off with half my teeth buried in it's calf! (That hurts, for the record!) But I guess that makes sense. Which makes me think about what I was asking Tony for... if we find a way to get around the nuclear stuff, it changes how the damage goes. But! But I bet some of the portal things at least used to be on the Eurasian continent, so some have got to be now!
Keeping it on record's kinda what we've been doing for the last like, year, but I guess you're right. Finding that stuff out! That's important, no matter what.

but if that's the route you're beginning to lean towards, i can start figuring something out. on top of the other stuff. assuming there even is other stuff left still.

There's always other stuff. You're probably better at seeing it than I am! I mean, I'm trying, but it's all like aaaaah remembering all the other things people say are important or I think are but it's like one goal at a time how do you handle twenty five?

or something.
and i keep a list, mostly. lists are good for that.

Lists are good. I tend to lose all of mine, but they are good!

was there anything else you wanted to ask or is that all?
