001 ▐ VIDEO

( So here's a friendly robot-face for you, network. Between the big political speeches and the kittens because he has always had excellent timing. But he's looking significantly less beat-up than he did previously, dents straightened out and looking polished up. )

Okay, here's a question for you. If you've decided to settle down on your home planet that's suddenly not-dead and start up a new government after a civil war that lasted for ages, would you elect the one bot who served directly under the guy who started the entire thing in the first place?

Because I'm really trying to see what anyone could have seen in Starscream and I just don't get it.

( He's really sorry about your problems, Exs, but he's not here for organic squabbling. If he was even aware of it in the first place. Which he isn't, because he just got back from his own universe. )

So, what'd I miss?

[HOW IS HE SUPPOSED TO REDIRECT THESE ARE HIS ISSUES TOO SOMETIMES.]

I suppose second chances are important.

[Except when you blow them. Good job Noh-Varr. But he lives with his issues pretty well. Most of the time. Or he pretends well enough to cover up whatever wounds are left.]
transuniversal: (Kate that was dumb)

[SHIT ABORT MISSIONS ABORT MISSION THEY HAVE STRAYED INTO THE DANGEROUS WATERS OF REGRET BORDERING ON SELF-PITY.]

You have to make electing a former rebel and traitor right?

[Noh-Varr is 99.9% sure that's not what he means, but he'll steer the conversation towards what the problem is- maybe- this way. Or give him an out. Whatever. Whichever!]
transuniversal: (brush it off)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2013-12-07 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
That seems like a very bad idea.

[Ok they can change the topic it was kind of personal for him too.]
transuniversal: (shush space-boy)

A quest?

[Sounds like the sort of romantic nonsense that Noh-Varr is totally into.]

What sort of quest do your people go on?
transuniversal: (pancakes?)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2013-12-26 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
And what do you do, on this Quest of Space?

[He's going to have some momentary fun being alien.]
transuniversal: (not "norman")

[personal profile] transuniversal 2013-12-28 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Does it really exist, or is it only a legend?

[This is an important question, because he's Kree, and he can't tell if this is just like the "Holy Grail" and King Arthur and the realness versus the metaphor is debatable or if that's a legitimate artifact.]
transuniversal: (I don't know but I'm gonna find out)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2013-12-28 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
[Noh-Varr will politely refrain from mentioning at this moment that this sounds like a mash-up of several popular Earth movies and play along. THIS IS ACTUALLY INTERESTING-SOUNDING.]

What are they supposed to do?
transuniversal: (waiting for a purpose)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2014-01-01 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
[This is actually very interesting, in its way, even if it sounds totally crazy.]

So what does it mean, to be Cybertronian?

[Though he's still working on "what does it mean to be human" some days.]
transuniversal: (let me double check with Kate)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2014-01-05 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
It took your people four million years to stop doing that?

[THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT YOUR SPECIES RODIMUS.]

[JUDGEMENT ABOUNDS. JUST A LITTLE BIT OF JUDGMENT.]

What did the rest of galactic civilization think of all of this?
transuniversal: (advice)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2014-01-07 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
I can't imagine why.

[LIKE WOW YOU GUYS ARE FUCKED UP.]
transuniversal: (well we found those guys)

[personal profile] transuniversal 2014-01-08 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I assumed they earned the name for being good at deception. Which seems deeply ironic.
