Okay, here's a question for you. If you've decided to settle down on your home planet that's suddenly not-dead and start up a new government after a civil war that lasted for ages, would you elect the one bot who served directly under the guy who started the entire thing in the first place?

Because I'm really trying to see what anyone could have seen in Starscream and I just don't get it.

What's a spark? What's a hotspot? Does that mean someone else makes you?

It's what makes us us. You can shove my spark into another body, but I'd still be me. ( Loki, Rodimus is the wrong person to ask if you want in depth details. Completely the wrong bot. ) A hotspot is where there's lots of sparks, and we make ourselves. Unless you're constructed cold - because someone has to build your body from scratch.

So there are sparks in these hotspots! [okay, he gets it!] But where do the sparks come from? Are they simply there?

Yeah, they're just not, you know, viable until the hotspot's been ignited. And then if they're not harvested they kind of... evaporate.

( he knows this because he accidentally fertilized an entire moon. )

Even with all their potential they evaporate. Quite poetic, and a bit depressing.

We were kind of occupied or else we would have grabbed at least one. There hasn't been a viable hotspot since the early years of the war - Fort Max is warborn, and he said he wasn't constructed cold.

What does it mean when they go away?

Nothing, they're just gone.
