When it comes down to do or die, who do you trust here to make decisions to pull people through, and not leave people stranded high and dry, or freeze up and fall into inaction? People who keep their temper in heated circumstances. Ones who maybe aren't going to forget the bigger picture, even if that doesn't make it easy on the smaller scale.

I've got a few names myself! Blue, Kate Kane, Nathan Summers, Caesar Silverberg, Lenalee Lee, Xerxes Break, Gilbert Nightray, Jaime Reyes, Ashraf, Kang, Peter Quill, Donny, Armin Arlert, Chrono and Rosette, even Dick Grayson and Ahiru and Vanadi, of all people, would stand by you figuring things out.

I'm going to keep talking, though, so you might want to tune out if you don't want to hear me ramble about a few maybe important, maybe not things!

Hey, Blue? All those questions about AIs... I think you were asking for a reason. Is it up for discussion? Because I think it should be past a planning stage.

Jai-- ( She coughs. ) Hi! Blue Beetle? Hahaha, I'm sorry, that's two blues in a row, but um, with all that stuff on Project Chimera, have you like, found anything talking about when they started learning how to grow people up so fast? Someone had to have a breakthrough on that, unless science really works that way! I'm not sure, it's all super advanced for when I'm from.

And um... okay, I'm not sure about this one either. Tony? Tony Stark? What do you know about uh... renewable energy stuff?

[He dodges the first part of the question because really the people he once trusted he left back home and most of them are dead. Aside from Nate, of course, but he doesn't want to drag him into anything.]

No...we should be able to depend on each other, too. If we can't then we're going to lose this war.

Yeah, that's my thought, too. We've got to trust each other in a bunch of different ways -- trust some people to think up the plans to get us from point a to point b, others to get information, others to fight with us, others to have our backs. The whole gambit!

It's hard to give, but... we're in a hard place. I feel it's important. I mean, I know it is for me, but I feel like it is for everyone else, too!

Right.

An army is more than just front line fighters. It needs strategists, medics, people in the back lines gathering intel. We're gonna need all of those things to beat the United Earth and then some.

And the United Earth is the real enemy here. They're a threat to everyone, not just us.... I think sometimes people need to be reminded about that.

It's easier to focus on things closer to home, I think? I don't know. They feel far away, then suddenly they're this big threat on top of us, then they leave again... They're definitely the thing we're guarding against. Or more what we're trying to chew away at, slowing them down so they can't do the worst that -- the worst that they can.
