Hello!

[when this video post starts, the focus is somewhere... around the top of her head. Colette's eyes widen as she notices that she's holding it too high, so the view suddenly jumps down (yep, she just over corrected). Nibbling on her lip a little, she tilts it higher again... perfect! Determined not to let the view vary she tries her best not to move it]

My name is Colette Brunel. I haven't talked to everyone like this yet, so... hello! It's really nice to meet you all.

I'm sorry to bother everyone like this, but I wanted to ask something. Even though we... don't live on Earth anymore [her gaze grows a mite somber as she talks about it] it still sounds like a very important world. A lot of people here come from Earth, and we're supposed to travel throughout Earth's history! I come from another world that is very different, so I would really like to learn more about Earth if I can.

And so... if anyone knows anything about Earth and has a little time to spare, I'd love to ask some questions! O-Or, if you would rather just tell me a few facts and not be asked any questions, that's okay too. Anything would be helpful.

[although, a thought strikes her] Ah! That doesn't mean that I don't want to talk to people if they're not from Earth. I'd like to hear about everyone's homes! They all sound really beautiful in their own way, and it would be nice to hear about many worlds.

[she pauses, and smiles sheepishly! She's not one to get shy, but she feels a little bad making requests like this when everyone is probably busy]

R-Really? You've traveled between worlds before coming here?

I don't really come from Earth, but I've heard lots of different things about it. They sound similar to the bio-plant fleets I live in!

I seem to be. I'm from 1912. Most people I've spoken to are from decades if not an entire century later.

[woah, Colette's eyes widen at the unfamiliar words. But then she realizes that introductions are happening, so she nods in greeting] It's nice to meet you too!

And... what's a bio-plant fleet?

Wow, is it strange knowing the future of your world?

As far as I can tell, my earth seems to be different from others, so I can't imagine things would turn out the same way.

Glad you asked! Lots of people were confused by it when I mentioned where I lived. Ah, how do I explain this...?

[With both hands, she moves them apart as if making a large comparison.]

A ship that travels across galaxies, large enough to fit plenty of cities where people can live in. It's covered with a glass dome that simulates a sky, complete with actual landscapes that changes often so visitors don't grow bored. With technology as advanced in my world, we can even envision a sea, trees, and anything we can put our minds to!

[A small laugh.]

My, it sounds more like a makeshift planet, doesn't it?

It does! That sounds amazing... people would be able to build lives while still exploring space.

That must have been really difficult to create.

How is it different?

Ah...we have a flying city that no one else has ever heard of?

Ever wonder what it's like to live inside a tabletop role-playing game?

My world literally runs on game-like mechanics. It's... Weird.

People can also travel to different planets this way. In fact, it's actually the reason why the colony fleets were created in the first place.

[She nods in agreement.]

But just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's impossible to achieve, right?

Oh, well, that's easy. My world was destroyed the the UE! The Initiative sent me home, but the UE was able to trace the signal.

[Elmer C. Albatross: about as subtle as a brick thrown at your face. he sounds awfully chipper, though.]

Otherwise, it's hard to compare. There's 1300 years of time from when I was alive, and here! It's like a whole other world in some respects. Quite literally, right now!

[...Hisoka and sweet do not belong in the same sentence Colette. :l But he is. Trying. Really. He is just not used to this whole small talk and socializing as much.]

Well...There is the New Years. I suppose things like...Valentines, White Day, Christmas.

Are homes really that important to begin with?

[She can't help but giggle softly. Don't get flustered, Colette! Please. People do that around her mom, not her.]

I thought it best to ask since this is something you endeavor to learn.

I've never heard of any of those. [but New Years... at least that one she can try to puzzle out] Is New Years the celebration of... a new year?

[huh, Colette has good hearing so she catches that verbal slip. Maybe... friends so close that they're family? She doesn't comment, but she'll remember that]

Ah... oneechan?

Oh! That's the one that's coming soon, right? I think I saw someone mention that name...

[ah... she frowns, looking incredibly guilty]
