text ♫ 3rd note (backdated to when new transports came)

How fascinating to see the moon from this perspective rather than from the earth. To closely see that which is light only to realize the darkness hidden within makes for fun contemplation. What is truly light? Who's to say it cannot equally be called dark, hmm~? Light and dark, good and bad: who can say whether one or the other exists. (◡‿◡✿)

Also, Lord Vessalius, should you still be here, I would like to request your presence for that midnight stroll this evening. (◕‿◕✿)

It forewarned the destruction of the city. [it's true - that's something that could've been avoided, right? right? he's-- not entirely sure, now. maybe that's just the way things should be.

...maybe he shouldn't think about it too much. he only protects because of--]

Lacie.

[if it were in voice, it would have been a tired Lacie, something weary and small, but it's in text so all he can do is hope his tone gets through. (he know, though, there's only one place like that on the ship-- so stay.)]

I'll be there soon.

[oswald doesn't take long to arrive. he's not in his usual victorian attire other than his long coat, modern clothes from here under it. it's a change from back then, but oswald has been away from sablier for over a year. he needs to change or he won't survive long enough to figure out what's going, if this world can meet lacie's expectations, or if he should do away with everything now.

but, it's fine. right now, he can deal with the harrowing despair that whispers in the back of his mind. he can forgive, for just a moment, lacie's thoughtlessness and carelessness - he can forgive it, to see her again.

the observatory isn't that far off from where he already is. the ring on his finger that's his weapon is on him of course, close and alien now. he sees her in all of her beauty, staring at the stars, and wonders: can he really forgive what he has no right (yet) to be angry over? can he say what's right, can he even--

(does he have the right to stand near her anymore? does she have the right to exist, does he have the right to deny 'glen baskerville'?)

he's so tired all of the time, but for her he puts on something close to his best, because the initiative and somarium beat his best out of him.]

Lacie. [he calls, eyes on her, watching.]

[when isn't oswald tired these days, he hardly gets a moment to stop and sit the hell down to nap. (he does, actually, he just doesn't exploit it anymore. too busy training, training, training until his skin wears thin.)

none the less, there's something like relief flitting across his expression as he looks down at her for a moment before resolving to just— sit down next to her and talk. it's easier that way; he did come to fetch her, but this is okay. he hasn't talked her in a year. —has it really been that long since she came and gone from somarium? this is long overdue.]

...what expression? [and excuse u he wouldn't mind if his face were always stuck in the :| expression omg.]
