How fascinating to see the moon from this perspective rather than from the earth. To closely see that which is light only to realize the darkness hidden within makes for fun contemplation. What is truly light? Who's to say it cannot equally be called dark, hmm~? Light and dark, good and bad: who can say whether one or the other exists. (◡‿◡✿)

Also, Lord Vessalius, should you still be here, I would like to request your presence for that midnight stroll this evening. (◕‿◕✿)

[Rise barely pays attention to the message at all. All she notices is the name, and immediately latches on to a small glimmer of hope. Especially after losing someone very important the other day...]

Lacie-chan?!!!

do you remember me? its Rise!

[Please remember her? ... She doesn't know what she'd do if someone she missed that much was a total stranger again...]

[Ah, a familiar name! How nice to see that Rise's still here! It had been fun being around her and, truthfully, it feels nice to know the fun could continue.]

My, is my name so surprising that it requires so many exclamations? Your name is far more worthy of so many, Rise!!! ｡◕‿◕｡

[Which is her way of saying that, yes, she does remember Rise.]

[Excuse her for a minute while she gives a little squeal. A happy squeal, of course. That Lacie obviously can't hear through a text.]

I thought I'd never see you again!

Where are you now? Can I come see you?

[She put effort into this message. All properly capitalized and everything!]

[It's easy enough to guess where Lacie is if there's food involved!]

[The best part is that Rise is actually right nearby! There's a magical doorway in one of the cafeteria walls with a sign that reads "Marasia Lounge". And Rise, dressed very differently to how Lacie might remember (with matching cute, lacy hair bows in her twintails!), steps into the cafeteria from there.]

Lacie-chan...?

[She's hoping she guessed right. It's a pretty big cafeteria, so it might take Rise a minute to find her...]

[Said other girl is lounging around in a chair cross the room and doing what she does best: people watching. It's amusing, really. The most amusing thus far has been people complaining about the food. How spoiled they must be to complain about food presented to them for free. Disliking the taste is one thing; saying that they rather starve shows speaks volumes about their character.

As Lacie's eyes scan over the people, a familiar face catches her eye. The smile on her lips widens ever so slightly as she gives a small wave. My, that certainly is an interesting attire Rise has on.]

[And there she is! Rise races over immediately, with the brightest smile she's had in what feels like a very long time.

She barely stops short in front of Lacie... she really, really wants to hug her, but she's trying to restrain herself at least a little bit. Which is something she never would have done back when Lacie was first here, actually. Before a lot of things happened.

So she just stands there, hands folded neatly over her skirt, and beaming at her friend.]

Hey...

[And there ends her restraint. Because what can she possibly say to express how much she missed her? The word is barely out of her mouth before she's throwing her arms around Lacie, hugging her tightly.]
