So, now that the pleasant welcome is over, can someone tell me how we are even maintaining Earth's gravity? Or a better more relevant question could be, where is all the oxygen coming from? I mean, even water is pretty limited.

[ she is disappointed about the lack of available scientific research about this place. come on, guys. the archives and records say everything about the island and its history, but nothing about what's been happening on this secret moon base. (also, seriously? this is getting a little too science fiction — says the girl from a town of werewolves.) ]

And assuming that time travel is actually possible, shouldn't the butterfly effect come into play here? You can't seriously know every single influence that lead to an event and its outcome. Sorry, I must have left my Time Travel 101 textbook back in the real world.

Perhaps our influences have already been made within the gist of things, and we're merely returning to the spot that we hadn't remembered prior in order to be in the right place to set the catalyst to perform them. So it's happening for the first time, yet ... it's already happened! Perhaps some of it is yet to happen. The intricacies of time certainly have us for a loop.

Apparently the laws of physics — or laws of anything — don't apply here. They totally gloss over the details of their "advanced technology" in their records, so whatever. But I'm doing okay now. Is there a way we can move rooms? If I have to stay here, I should at least get a say in my roommate.

Except this should be basic science. Minus the multiuniverse part. It still can't be so advanced that even laws of physics are being ignored.

The butterfly effect has come into play a few times, but none of us pulled in are from this world so we run no risk of making ourselves cease to exist on accident.

Should you wish to talk to the mechanics and engineers who have been working on restoring the base, I'm sure they'll be willing to tell you how we are accomplishing this. I'm afraid science is not my area.

But by pulling us out of our worlds isn't that already affecting our timelines? I mean, we might not be able to erase our existence but it could definitely be cut short here. Wars don't exactly have low causality numbers.
