Hello, everyone!

If everything keeps going as it is, the Agriculture Wing--[There might be an excited sing-song trill in the way she says Agriculture Wing.]--will soon be open, so I was just wondering if there was anyone who wanted to get together outside of it, just a little while before it does. It won't be anything like a party, though I would be happy to put some tea and cookies or the like together if anyone wanted them. It's really just to talk about all the things we might or could want to do there, and maybe just to talk about about plants in general. Oh, and some fungi, too!

But absolutely anyone would be welcome, even if you don't know as much about the subject, and, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions about anything at all, please feel free to contribute!

For that matter, though, seeing as how we'll have only so much space, it might be a good idea to take stock of the fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other plants people might want or need? It's a free area, of course, but if there are higher demands for certain things, it might be a good idea to keep some kind of record. That way, anyone who wants to do work there will know what others might want or need, if that's what they would like to do. It would also help in terms of supplies and organisation, since different plants have different needs, and while a lot of species can be quite versatile and hardy, and their needs very multi-purpose, some things can be very limiting and specific, and it wouldn't be very productive to stock up on things that might not be used terribly often if there are better alternatives. For example, flowers of the viol--[Flora no. By the grace of some deity or other she manages to catch herself, in time.]

Yes, and trying to tell them otherwise would only be encouraging, so I won't bother. [Though she wouldn't say it in so many words.]

I try to be prepared for most things. [But she doesn't want to get into it too much and make a fuss in case other troublemakers read it and takes it as a challenge!]

But I'm hoping that nobody would, since it's to talk about how to make things better for people, here. I'd like to think that most people would be happy about the idea of having fresh food much more readily available.

Probably not, actually. [Because. Troublemakers. She's run into a number of them.]

Jesse Pinkman will be having a Halloween baking party, so I don't want to cut into that, especially since I'll be there myself, but maybe just a couple of hours before the opening? As for how big, I can't be sure about that until I know who'd be interested.

Christ, you guys have a lot of fuckin' parties. Kind of surprising given the situation here. [ Here, he shrugs. Ok, whatever, parties. They can party all night if they want, it's no skin off his nose. ] Ok, anyway. That makes sense. Just let me know the details, like the exact when.

It's mostly to bake cookies for the new arrivals, but to unwind, too. We've done it every month, except for the last, because of the situation.

[Yeah, things were...yeah.]

But considering what people will be getting into and what people have already been through, I think everyone's earned the right to a bit of a breather.

Oh, yeah, apparently some whacked out shit has been going down. I need the play by play of what happened at some point, or at least a history of events. I'll get it though, eventually. Just have to wade through all the irrelevant bullshit to find the important stuff.

So, yeah. Cookies. And breathing. I can see that, most people need breaks now and then. Especially when shit gets hard.

Um, yes. Quite a bit. There've been lulls, but something will always happen eventually. I suppose that's why they're lulls. [Because things will keep happning.]

It's never been this bad before, though, though every other time has been really awful. [At least they still had Exsilium every other time.]

The lulls... yeah, I've kinda noticed that. Sometimes this place seems pretty fucking normal, then other times it's obvious as hell it isn't.

Nice to meet you, Dirk. And yes...it's really like that, though, if I'm frank, a lot of us expect things to happen, it's just that we try to make the most of the quieter periods when we can.
