It's that time of year again, huh..... Σ（ﾟдﾟlll）
You know, people say that the presence of spirits are the strongest around now. Not that I believe in ghosts! I'm a very logical-minded guy o(-`д´- ｡) But you can't deny that a lot of re~ally strange coincidences happen during this time!
That chilling feeling down your back you get whenever you feel like you're being watched...
That shadow just outside your range of vision...
It's all just paranoia, that's all it is (*｀へ´*)
Being stuck in a cramped space like this makes everything worse. Everything is a trick of the mind! There's no way that ghosts exist.
That said, you guys know who's been causing those sounds and leaving those messages in the bathrooms, don't you? ヽ(｀⌒´メ)ノ Come on, come on, fess up!

That has nothing to do with this. In fact, I want to solve it as soon as possible so that Kido won't be frightened whenever she goes to the restrooms ヽ(´▽｀)ノ

[Ghosts by themselves could be worse, honestly. It's frightening, but her fear wasn't really anything compared to Kido's -- there's another, more obvious issue with this scenario. Going by herself to a place Kano told her to? Alone? She knows he wouldn't let anything happen to her, but even though she was so quick to tell him everything was alright (because she wanted it to be, so, so badly), she can't help but feel a little bit apprehensive.

She knows that wouldn't happen a second time. She knows he wouldn't blame her for feeling that way either, but -- well, thank goodness for being able to hide her face with the text option.]

I trust you, Kano.

[He'd been planning on pranking whoever chose to investigate the mysterious 'haunting.' It wouldn't be too difficult--cover his tracks with his eyes, make a few lights flicker, get himself to appear like some frightening apparition. But he realizes, when he gets her reply, that he can't go through with it after all.]

[He can scare her a different way when she gets here. Kano switches to video. It's apparent that he's in the bathroom, judging by the stall he's squatting in.]

Hey, hey. Mary can see me like this, can't she?

[Even if it's Kano, it just doesn't really occur to her to switch over to a video feed herself, so she just keeps typing.

But what is he doing in the bathroom if he's so insistent it's not his fault this time?]

[He shrugs! Like hey, no big deal.]

I was taking a dump.

[Being scolded by Mary makes him giggle like the immature schoolboy he is.]

[Kano tilts the tablet so she can see some ~spooky~ scrawls on the side of the stall.]

I was investigating this, obviously! I heard a noise, and when I came in this was here. Weird, huh?

[Again. Whatever it was that happened last time. She doesn't know much about ghosts specifically, but why would any of them even want to possess Kano, of all people?

But he is her friend and important to her and she is worried, so she heads down to the bathrooms anyway.]
