So I get we got plenty of urgent business to take care of what with...well, we live on the moon, bombs, wars, yadda yadda, but indulge me for a bit.
Everyone keeps talkin' about Halloween, yeah? An' it's about ghosts an' the departed...
So for Ghosts, those currently present that is, would this be like a second birthday? Y'know, as in gifts an' the like? Cause I could stand behind somethin' like that a hundred percent.
I'm in 155 if anyone's feelin' generous.
[As always he's just posting to see if he can't rustle a few jimmies down the line. Treating urgency lightly usually does the trick in his experience.]

There's all that talk about how people get the desire to live strongest on their deathbed, after all.

[ HITTING A LITTLE CLOSE TO HOME HERE ]
So, er, how's the afterlife treating you?

Pretty good! Only about as good as Exsilium is goin' for everyone else.
Though I spent the last hundred years or so workin' for the afterlife, technically, but it was only as busy as I made it to be.
[So not very.]
Delegatin' business to others worked pretty well for that.

He'd assumed Gin was one of those unfortunate souls who turned up in Exsilium shortly after dying. ]
So - you've been dead for some time. Working in celestial civil service.
[ A beat ]
Dear me, I'm not sure which is worse~!

ghosts can die who knew]Mind numbin' boredom, a lack of things to do in an endless void with a bunch of other stiffs...it was one hell of a struggle alright, the civil service gig.

Hell's an entirely different story. The afterlife is kinda like livin' for a bit before you reincarnate, but hell's nothin' but sufferin' for alllllll the bad you did durin' your life. You wouldn't get bored there, you'd get distressed an' despair.
