My name is Seras Victoria, it's my first time addressing the network here so nice to meet you all.

I'd like to talk about another particular issue of resources on the moon, though this resource is er... a little different from the others.

Some of you may be aware that werewolves aren't the only supernatural creatures living among you. Some of us are vampires.

[She won't name any names, respecting the privacy of those who would rather not publically announce what they are.]

I'm asking if anyone here would be willing to volunteer to donate blood specifically for the vampire population. There would be no biting involved Jan and it would never more than once a week, depending on how many people volunteer.

[Seras smiles hopefully.]

I know it's possible that we could make a supply run to a hospital or blood bank somewhere using the transport system but I'd rather not take it from where it might damage lives. We could do with getting the medical equipment to collect and store the blood however. Bags and a fridge for example. If anyone with medical knowledge could help that would be appreciated.

To any other vampires out there, I know a couple of you but if you'd like to contact me, privately if you wish, to have access to whatever we manage to organise, please do.

My name's Donny, I help out at the clinic. We can set you up with equipment and a sterile environment at the clinic to make it safer, if that'd help.

( actually slightly uncertain, but Scott is a Good Dude, has been a friend and is also a werewolf, so maybe this can be cool. And things here are so complicated, anyway. The suspicious vigilante side of him is just sort of... a suspicious vigilante. )

I'll talk to Ashraf, he's in charge of the clinic. We need to keep blood on supply here, too, and figure out how frequently it would be safe for people to donate blood when there's the possibility of missions in combat hanging over us.

I'm trying to work out different coordination stuff for the clinic and supply inventory right now. I know that isn't really interesting to everyone, though.

( he doesn't want to make her help out when she is making an effort not to just randomly eat people, after all. Survival is a thing they all need to do. Also he's just kind of shy and what if she doesn't like clinics or hospitals or running for supplies WHAT THEN )

Yes, that's part of why I wanted to be honest about what it was I was asking people to donate for. It wouldn't be fair to take from what's meant to help people in a crisis.

Oh no, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. It's much better than sitting idle.

Cool. I can get the names of the people I've spoken to about it so far, if you like? And you can drop by the clinic any time, I'm usually here, or someone else will be. You can see the facilities and we can work out bigger cool storage or something.

That would be great. I'll be able to come by quite soon I should think. I know there are at least three of us so if we could aim for at least one blood bag a week each that would be good.

Okay. I'll talk to Kirian and Ashraf, they might have some ideas, too. There are some people on board who can conjure and do alchemy so they might even be able to make blood, but I don't know if it'd be right for you.

( are there rules about this stuff? it seems like a complicated magic thing. )

I never though of that... wow, that would be great if it works. I should have to test anything they come up with.

We'll see. It'd be great if the solution is that easy, but it's better to have another plan in place in case any of our conjurers leave, so you don't get stuck with no blood.

I'm happy to volunteer my blood if there's any emergencies and stuff in the meantime, though.

( mmm magical blood. Extra potent? )
