[The last time Saul was seen on the network, he was about to choke out a member of the Initiative.

He's calmed down since then.

In fact, the look with which he greets the network is positively cheerful, thought not so much that it takes away from the businesslike atmosphere he's trying to cultivate with this post — he's got work to do, damn it, so he's in the most official-looking room he could find, seated in front of the camera with folded hands. Suit: check, tie: check, pocket square: check.]

This isn't how the story goes, but: good morning, Moon.

For those of you who don't know me, the name's Saul Goodman. I work for the Department of Initiative-Transport Relations with the lovely Queen Medusalith Amaquelin-Boltagon — [He pauses to smirk. What a mouthful, right?] — and a whole slew of other equally lovely folks. We're here to help you in matters concerning Initiative-Transport goings on. Now, here I'd usually take the opportunity to ask you all to lay whatever questions you might have on me, but because things are so crazy right now, the best answer I can give to any question will probably be a confident "I don't know."

We'll update you as we're updated.

Anyway, I'm coming to you today with a request. Lots of people are gearing up to go on supply runs, which is great. Go team. If those of you who've gone on runs already or plan to go could check in with me here and let me know what it is you're bringing back, that'd be super helpful. I'll make a list that everyone can refer back to, so no one has to double-up on fetching supplies that might not be necessary.

[So he might be a little bit worried about the lack of resurrection technology. That might be a thing. He just doesn't want anyone taking unnecessary risks for the sake of DVDs or... or whatever.]

I intend to go on some supply runs soon as well, to gather anything that could help. Do you know what sort of goods we're in need of the most, right now?

You can just call me Saul. As for what we need — food, mostly. Clothing seems to be in high demand. Hygiene products would be useful, too.

Food is certainly a priority. [ as if on cue, something begins to growl off-camera - it might be his stomach. he reddens, but talks over it, ] Hygiene... such as toothbrushes and soap, you mean? I'll see what I can find.

Yeah, things like that. Maybe bottled water, too.

Bottled water - do you mean canteens?

Uh. [Pause.] Yes and no. Canteens are a good idea — less plastic to deal with. But bottled water is... water that comes prepackaged.

Oh. [ haha. ] Sorry, what would be a good, er, year to find that?

Um. I think it's a uniquely 20th-slash-21st century thing. Er — then onward, I mean. Unless someone from the future has outlawed plastic...

[God, time travel is so confusing.]

I won't go past the 21st, then, to be safe.

But why would somebody outlaw it?

Plastic's not biodegradable, or whatever it is, and recycling's not as big a thing as the environmentalists would like, so... not hard for me to imagine someone coming along in the future and outlawing it. After finding an alternative, of course.

But even Saul thinks it'd be pretty shitty to move to the moon and then trash the place up when this — hopefully — isn't a permanent thing.]

It's not much of a secret, it's not too much to reveal on its own. It might be a little hard to explain, though.] I'm an Exorcist, actually. But probably not the sort you're thinking of.

I suppose you could say we're soldiers. For us, exorcism isn't so much a rite as it is a battle. It doesn't mean much here, but I'm able to hold my own in a fight.

It's not something he's supposed to talk over the network about, and so he tries to keep it vague,]
