[This is Jaime's first post to the network as Blue Beetle, and the name displayed on the tablet has changed accordingly. For any hackers out there, it can't be linked back to him as he's not actually using his tablet; he's posting directly from his armour.]

Hey. Blue Beetle here. I know that after all this, the last thing we're thinking about is the UE's soldiers, but something's been bugging me. Everyone who was on the distraction team with me, you must have noticed the new soldiers, right? They didn't have anything like them on Elmer's world, and I'm pretty sure that war was an all-hands-on-deck sort of deal. The normal soldiers were really well equipped as it was, but these ones must have been metas. They were stronger, and faster. It was so busy on the field that I don't know whether or not I was seeing ones with different powers or if they all had the same skillset going on, but the ones I noticed could fly and had elemental powers. And they were small. Like children.

[Which is deeply off-putting.]

I'm not sure what their deal is, but consider this a heads-up for what the UE's got in store, and the kind of technology we might find on them. For some reason, I don't think an army full of tiny meta-soldiers is something they just managed to find one day. If any of you ran into them too, I think it'd be good if we could get some sort of list of how much they can actually do. Oh yeah, one last thing. Since we don't exactly have space suits around here yet, if there's any maintenance that needs to be done outside the base, let me know. I'm guessing we don't have a whole lot of people who can breathe out there, and my suit's built for space travel.

I wasn't saying anyone should, obviously the UE needs to be stopped and some mistakes need to be fixed. It's just a question of how far you're willing to go.

And how much we're willing to undo, yeah. With time travel I'm not sure you can control even that much. Whatever we do has consequences. Consequences we might not be able to see, we might never get to see.

Yeah, I don't know why they thought time travel was a good idea. Usually nothing good comes from it.

I think it's mostly because they're desperate.

Guess that's putting it mildly, especially now.

So what's the plan?

Like in general?

With the clones.

But in general too, I guess. I haven't heard about any definite gameplans beyond surviving yet.

We don't have one yet. I'm going to get some more info so we can see exactly what we're dealing with here before we make any decisions.

[Not that he's even sure how they're going to make that decision; there's no one around to tell them exactly what must be done.]

The general plan right now is just time travel. Make it so that the nuke never happened and then we can go back to Exsilium. Everyone's been more focused on making sure we don't starve to death up here first though.]

[ He's sorta catching onto that. ]

I know a lot of people have been lost, but isn't there like a leader or any kind of organization to this mess so people will know what to actually do? 'Just time travel' is rather broad.

There didn't seem to be much of a big plan in the first place. How long have you been here for?

That's reassuring.

I arrived this month.

I got here in May. Since I've been here, someone's entire world was destroyed, the UE let loose a supervirus before bombing us, a bunch of Transports got kidnapped... and now this. Half the time, we're not working against the UE so much as we're trying to rebuild.

I've heard.

That needs to change if we ever want to win this war.

Yeah. We can't keep this up forever. Not that we would even want to in the first place.

They don't know we're on the moon, right? Perfect time to plan things out I'd say.

Nope. We stole their spaceship way back when, so who knows if they ended up building another one.

Good. We'll at least have some time to figure things out then.
