[This is Jaime's first post to the network as Blue Beetle, and the name displayed on the tablet has changed accordingly. For any hackers out there, it can't be linked back to him as he's not actually using his tablet; he's posting directly from his armour.]

Hey. Blue Beetle here.

I know that after all this, the last thing we're thinking about is the UE's soldiers, but something's been bugging me. Everyone who was on the distraction team with me, you must have noticed the new soldiers, right? They didn't have anything like them on Elmer's world, and I'm pretty sure that war was an all-hands-on-deck sort of deal.

The normal soldiers were really well equipped as it was, but these ones must have been metas. They were stronger, and faster. It was so busy on the field that I don't know whether or not I was seeing ones with different powers or if they all had the same skillset going on, but the ones I noticed could fly and had elemental powers.

And they were small. Like children.

[Which is deeply off-putting.]

I'm not sure what their deal is, but consider this a heads-up for what the UE's got in store, and the kind of technology we might find on them. For some reason, I don't think an army full of tiny meta-soldiers is something they just managed to find one day. If any of you ran into them too, I think it'd be good if we could get some sort of list of how much they can actually do.

Oh yeah, one last thing. Since we don't exactly have space suits around here yet, if there's any maintenance that needs to be done outside the base, let me know. I'm guessing we don't have a whole lot of people who can breathe out there, and my suit's built for space travel.

anyways weve got all kinds of snaky people right maybe they wanted to make sure there wasnt anybody down there while everybody else was fighting up there
tiny people are really very scary apparently!

Oh well when you put it that way, it's totally legit that they'd send children into a battlefield to spot the sneaky people.

maybe not that exact thing
but we definitely snuck around a bunch

Sarcasm. That was sarcasm. I'm sure that they had powers because I saw them using them.

It's the way they looked and sounded. I know guys who are just short adults and trust me, they don't look or sound anything like them.

i didnt see them doing anything but we werent realy fighting i guess
ok so if youre right they have like superkids dont we have tohose too
like a whole bunch
anyway i dont think thats really a problem right now unless they can fly in space??

Yeah we do. And that's not right either.

It's not a problem right now but that doesn't mean that it's not going to be a huge one once we get back and they've doubled their numbers. If we're going to be doing a ton of missions back in time already, we have to think about more than just the bomb.

I'm not sure yet. I guess that's something we're going to need to talk about. Like as a group.

Maybe not a vote but we need to hear from guys who actually know what they're talking about. Scientists that get this whole clone stuff. People who have experience with time traveling. That kind of thing.

technically dont e all have experience with time traveling i mean
and i thought this was already a clone war why didnt the sceintist guys get asked before
like were we just hoping all the clones would go away on their own before or something

I mean better experience than what most of us have. Just because we've traveled in time doesn't make us experts or anything.

I only heard about the whole clone thing pretty recently. You want to know why they haven't been asked yet, you gotta ask someone else.

they made the machine and stuff..

i only heard about it last month too when i got here
dyou know who else knows more about it??

I haven't been a big fan of their problem solving skills since I got here.

And most of them stayed on Earth. With the bomb.

I dunno who knows what around here but I'm going to try to find out.

well sue they kinda suck at the problemsolving but they can at least tell us what they know even if they got themselves mostly blown up
i mean i bet their machines has all kinds of quirks
like our toaster at home wont toast anything unless you iggle the switch three times and then hit it on the side twice

..anyway lemme know what you find!

I'm talking more about what we actually do there than the machine itself.

Nobody's from this world and we've never traveled around the same months or year or whatever. It's always seriously different time periods.

We got to see dinosaurs once. That was pretty cool.

ya but wouldnt that be a thing if were trying to fix something specific though
like tring to stop the clones wed have to hit the same timeframe right??

..oh man whyd i miss dinosaurs
did anybody almost get eaten or what

If we want to save them yeah. We would. I'll have to ask if that's even possible.

No nothing like that. They made a forcefield around this one big area so none of the big guys could get in. The little ones were harmless.

wouldnt we have to do the same thing no matter what were doing about them i dont know..

If all we want to do is make sure that the UE can't make clones, we could go earlier in time and make sure they never get the right tech or research to do it. But if we want to save them, we can't do that. If we attack their resources before the clones are made, then all we're doing is killing them by making sure they'll never exist in the first place.

Don't be too jealous. The bad that's happened before then pretty much outweighed the good.

They're kids. They shouldn't be fighting in the first place. I don't know though, I hadn't thought that far ahead yet. I didn't even know they were cloens before today.
