Good evening. I'm Carlos, a new arrival.  I'm a human scientist, from Earth, year 2013.

I was hoping that some transports would be able to help me with an informal survey regarding their home world and time points. Moons? (If YES, how many): Yes! We've just the one, sadly.
Climate (desert, forest, etc.): Of the entire world? Why, that varied quite a lot. My own nation is nestled below the snowline in the tropics.
Home country and city: Aluthsa, Northern.
Carbon-based life? (If NO, please clarify which element, eg. silicon): You know, I never have quite understood that definition.
Races (Human/Non-Human): I'm a kitrite, but we've over twenty other species, not counting the humans. Would you like a full list?
Brief description of technology in your world: It's all Light-run, but I've come to see it's significantly behind what some other worlds have achieved.

What makes kitrites unique on your home world, if you don't mind my asking? How do they differ from the other races?

Oh, considerably. We're shorter lived than some species, longer lived than others. We tend not to engage in near as many wars as the rest of the world has, and put our efforts instead toward the arts. As a result, as you may guess, we've made considerable progress in terms of architecture, painting, and fashion. Ah, and for some reason, humans look rather like us, more so than any other species.

Fascinating! I'd have to wonder what a culture devoted to the arts would be like...there isn't very much like that on Earth, as far as a whole culture goes.
