Anyone who knew Ellie Linton, she's gone back to her own war, about ten days ago, so if you were worried about not having seen her around, that's why. Sorry for not contacting people privately, it was a little hard to keep up with who all she knew.

[And maybe there's part of her that just didn't want to deal with having the same conversation over and over again.

For our new arrivals: my name's Steph, welcome to our temporary moon base, feel free to get in touch if there's anything I can help with. This is my tenth month since arriving, so I know a thing or two.

I also wouldn't mind some sparring partners. Or if anyone wants to learn how to fight, I know about twenty different martial arts styles and I'm happy to teach people to defend themselves. Anything to help keep busy.

Not calling her dead. Chances of her coming back around, they never look good for anyone who leaves though. Not a problem at all.

There ain't much to cook with fruits and vegetables. You were one of those kids who always pushed their vegetables off to the side at dinner, weren't you?

i was one of those kids who couldn't afford vegetables half the time

how to bulk up meals so the fresh stuff goes further, how cook vegetables so you don't lose all the nutrients, how to use shitty cuts of meat. 'meat and two veg' isn't gonna cut it up here, not if we want to keep feeding about 300 people

Then how about we change that right here and now. We get access to this transporter thing you mentioned and we might be able to do weekly runs. A fresh cache every week.

problem is i don't think the base + transporter can handle that much use, along with what everyone else is doing, not to mention storing all that food. i don't think we have that many fridges up and running at the moment cause we don't need them, but if we had to start using a lot of cold storage it's gonna eat up power. we have to find a balance between not straining the generators and making sure we have enough food.

We can't be stuck in this shit box for a base forever. Eventually they're going to send us somewhere else. They have that capability. Just a matter of finding the right moment is what's holding them back. Monthly then.

you know there's only like ten initiative members left, right? i don't think there's much of a "they" right now.

monthly would be easier, hopefully someone's gonna keep track of who's going on missions and bringing stuff back, to save doubling up

either, though i'm guessing it'll be us. i don't think the remaining intitiative members have a lot of spare time on their hands
