It depends on how much practice an individual has had. The body may not reanimate fully if one isn't particularly skilled -- or if the body has been dead for an extended amount of time.

There's a bit of memory damage that occurs during the process as well. But it gets one back on their feet.

AI find this interesting. Partially decomposed organics ambulating is popular in fiction, and AI am curious to witness the birth of more in actuality. Their last creation predated my time in Exsilium.

From the records on file, yes. They are not listed as a necromancer, though their function appeared to be similar to one. They called for a mass resurrection of all relatively intact remains within the greater city area.

Curiously, not many walking skeletons were reported at the time.

Hm. How odd. A skilled necromancer can piece almost anything back together. But if they were not a necromancer then the point is most likely moot I suppose.

But regardless, there would be minimal skeletons shambling about with my method. I am able to keep flesh in tact when raising the dead.
