For a surprising change of pace, who is actually in favor of leaving the locals behind? Five hundred thousand odd lives, good as gone. Three hundred fifty of us in safety.

[because everyone who isn't is honestly an idiot.]

No lynching, please, ladies and gentlemen, let's have a civil discussion.

Losing this world is absolutely not an option! Not if we have to leave these people behind. We owe it to them to make everything right, to keep the attack from happening. Otherwise, what would the point of living afterwards be?

.... right... [ She is SO uncomfortable with this conversation D: ]

I don't think it's that...they don't understand. For a lot of people..even me... running from the situation goes against everything they - we - stand for.

[ But there was no First Master to cast a spell and trap the city in a stasis bubble to protect it from a massive attack like what was being planned. No guarantee that something like that would even work. ]

..but still, you'd think with as many people, from as many different worlds there are, there would have at least been someone who could do something...!

[ Nooo Jack nooooooo behave! XD ]

Maybe... they just haven't thought of all the possibilities yet..! They could... they could go farther underground in the bunker..! Or... it just can't be hopeless.

[ Such a NICE guy Jack only not you lying liar ;o; ]

No.. no it's all right, It's just... it goes against everything my friends and I stand for. I can't stand the idea of leaving anyone behind - like we're more worthy than they are, and it's not a matter of that. Several of us have friends among the locals, leaving them behind, and not even knowing...

[ Lucy wanted to tell them, but she knew damn well what THAT would do. ]

It's an upsetting topic no matter who you talk to I think. But you don't have to apologize, I.. I'll be fine.
