Since there seems to be an influx of new people suddenly, I'd like to extend my invitation for a free living space to all. My name is Drift. I've been fixing up this old building, I assume it was a factory of some kind. I find myself at a surplus of empty rooms.

Anyone is welcome to stay here long term or short term, you will have a room of your own, privacy and my protection as you are under my roof.

I only ask that you are peaceful and do not disturb the others living here.

That said, if anyone would like to donate any human-sized beds or furnishings, I would be very grateful, as I am not asking money of anyone who stays.

If you have any questions or would like to come stay here, don't hesitate to ask. I don't bite.

Haha, actually I have gotten some mixed reactions.

Well, a "robot" implies an automated thing that isn't alive. My species is entirely inorganic, but we are very much alive and _arguably intelligent. For the most part.

Eh, well, of course there's gonna be mixed reactions. But humans can get used to anything! [He is living this particular bit of human quirkiness right now.] Just as long as you don't step on anybody, everything should be fine! Ah, but I can't speak for adults, of course.

So you're a robot, but you're alive. Seems pretty simple to me! Well, I've never heard of it before, but that goes for 'bout 90% of everything here.

Yeah, so far it hasn't been too bad for the most part. And uh, haha, no worries about stepping on people. I'm not all that big.

I do appreciate your acceptance, though. Admittedly it's... refreshing.

It's nothing, it's nothing. If somebody can't accept a giant awesome-looking robot at face value they're probably just lame.
