[When the video begins, two girls appear, one blond and one brunette, with identical faces. The blond leans in close, voice loud and clearly attention-seeking.]

Hey, all of you! We have something to say, so listen up.

[She nods to the other girl, and lets her take over from there. Not that the wheelchair-bound girl seems all that pleased with her companion’s rudeness, but the awkward smile fades quickly to a neutral look.]

Please, this will only take a moment of your time, I assure you. My name is Nunnally vi Britannia, student, from 2018 a.t.b. era of the planet Earth. [Pausing.]

And I’m Nemo. You can call me Nunnally’s sworn knight. [Shrugging off that subtle attempt at chiding, Nemo introduces herself quickly, eager to get this part done with. She doesn’t much care for introductions, and it’s obvious in the tone of her voice.]

Yes, my knight. [Her voice picks up at the word as do the rest of her features. Having a strong knight is important for a student.] We are both very pleased to meet your acquaintance and look forward to providing aid where we can. After being told there are a number of objectives that can be completed for the Initiative through these missions, who am I to deny them that? So for those of you who are experienced in these tasks…

[With a grin, the second girl cuts in yet again.] We want to know all about it! How we get on them, what objectives you carry out, the works. And how does the Initiative feel about taking souvenirs from our missions?

You can’t ask them if we’re allowed to steal on an important world-changing mission!

(OOC: Nemo is red, Nunnally is purple, and both will be responding with their own tablets.)

That's slightly better, I guess.

[She rubs her forehead as she thinks.]

How much were you supposed to bring back, anyway?

[hyanaimne]

[she gives a shrug]

We brought back as much as we could carry.

[nemonics]

That can't be that much, and definitely not enough to refill if they were too low...

[She gives a shrug back, unsatisfied but willing to drop it.]

If they only sent a few of you, though, I can hope they have a lot more stockpiled somewhere.

[hyanaimne]

I find that doubtful, if they sent us there in the first place. Though I will have to check; I may see if I cannot go again, to acquire more.

[nemonics]

If you do find out, I'd like to know. It's better to know exactly what kind of supplies we have here, so we don't waste them.

And do you think they'll send you at your own request? That's interesting. Maybe I should look them up for myself, so we can get some practice before they attack us for real in the future.

[hyanaimne]

Admittedly, some of the more . . . modern first aid supplies are a bit lost on me. I am not of this era, and while I am trained in it, I much prefer magical healing to the traditional [she gives a wave of her hand] "physician" healing.

I could not say if they will, but if they are smart they would. I will see and send you a message if it is possible?

[nemonics]

Magical healing? If it's anything like how people talk about, it's probably more convenient to use. You wouldn't need nearly as many supplies...

I'd appreciate it, if you would. Can't hurt to try, at least, right?

[hyanaimne]

Even if it is more convenient, it is not an instant fix, either. It depends on the severity of the injury or injuries and where they are as well. Supplies would be needed no matter what.

[she shrugs] Not particularly, no.

[nemonics]

Limited resources applies even to something like that, huh? But it would still cut down on the amount strictly needed for a compound this size.

[hyanaimne]

I cannot speak for other healers here, but my magic is more efficient if I know exactly what has been injured or broken or otherwise. It is why I've a good grasp on anatomy and the like. But mm, I suppose it would still cut down a bit.

[nemonics]

[She nods at this.]

Ah! So, you're more like a surgeon than a primary care physician, then. I suppose that makes sense, if it helps you use your own magical resources at a reasonable pace.

[hyanaimne]

A . . . surgeon? Those are the doctors that . . . operate, yes?

[she's done her reading! She knows things!]
