Is anyone else starting to feel a little disturbed by how quiet things have been lately? Maybe it's just an old soldier's paranoia talking.

[He sighs and then continues]

I'm taking a group out to the outer lands on the island. Part training, part working out the geography a little better so we know where the dangers are. Leaving Saturday morning, back when I say so, but probably not more than a few days - only so far you can go in direction on an island. Let me know if you're interested.

Unless you have something more immediately pressing, I expect you to be there. We'll meet by the hold at six am.

Early September, by the Initiative's calendar - which may not be entirely accurate, but the seasonal mapping seemed about right over the last few months.

I know the aftermath of nuclear winter - the patterns may not be quite the same as they were before, but there are still patterns
